Excellent appointment for Vale. Can’t see them going down now.

Darren Moore appointed at Vale. 5 1/2 year contract. Wtf? That's likely to cost them in the future. Very few managers last even half that time.

Perhaps Moore wouldn't take the job unless he was given a long term contract? It certainly is some contract length, you've got to wonder at the same time what break clauses are in it.

Wouldn't be good timing to sack him when he is in hospital poor bloke.

A change will happen, but it was the hasty cancellation of a press conference that ignited the sacking stories. It might now be that Roy H (best wishes to him for a speedy recovery) stands aside for his own health now.

Given a two and a half year deal in December. Yet another example of just how lucrative it is to be not very good at your job. Next please.

Good luck to Eric. Very talented young coach. Not so sure that USA is best move for first job in management. Hopefully he will do a good job and return to top Championship club.

Milwall set to sack manager Joe Edwards and reappoint Neil Harris, from Cambridge. Within this season, Harris will have managed in L2, L1 and Championship 😮

Harris leaving has got to be good for us. Yes, as Cambridge have quite a daunting run in. None of this will matter though, if we can’t help ourselves with a few wins

All change York City again. Neal Ardley sacked after 34 games, with City just 1 point above relegation and playing dreadful football akin to the Matt Taylor style. John Askey is the early bookies fav at 2-1.

Was due to the barn pot Chairman of the time, who I understand has now gone (??).

If a player can only play for a couple of clubs (why is that?), how come a manager can manage any number?

A lot of comment on the Worthing forum about this. Been brilliant at Worthing, no one disputes right to want to better himself, but very strange it’s at York. Likes to play it out from the back, and whether he’ll get time at York to implement his style with then in a relegation battle. Also he knows south of England non league scene like back of his hand, and has many contacts, but not going to be the case at York.

Do you know different then? No. I just wondered where you heard there was some kind of limit. I have never been aware of one.
