Saddler gone Coyne gone grant banished and presumably soon gone www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/49006462is this Ricketts exerting his authority and starting the new season with his team and his backroom staff No issue with that at all, He lives and dies by the consequences of his actions though as if it goes wrong there will be many calling for his head.

I have it on good authority that he is having a trial with Wimbledon.

I have it on good authority that he is having a trial with Wimbledon. There have been suggestions that he played as a trialist in Spain in their game against Plymouth.

He played last night for orient apparently There were a couple of trialists for Orient last night but people on their forum don't seem to think either was Grant? I couldn't see him in these highlights either. There were a couple of goals for Lee Angol for Orient and one for Jamie Cureton for Bishops Stortford.

If he does go there I’m thinking I’ll recognise more of the Portsmouth line up than our own!!!

I don’t think he will be missed. I’m told there are traits of Graham French in him.

I don’t think he will be missed. I’m told there are traits of Graham French in him. French sounds more like Vic Kasule. "French led a life off the pitch atypical of a professional sportsman, often starting games worse for wear as his sessions at the local pubs were common knowledge. Fortunately, French was blessed with great stamina, and once the ball was wormed out to French on the wing his hangover seemed to evaporate into thin air". (wiki)

Is grant actually training with the youth team do we know? Or are we just saying that whilst he’s being paid to stay away?

Rubbish comment everyone deserves a second chance still maybe you know what did happen I trust the club to deal with evidently serious disciplinary matters in house and with professionalism. If he gets a second chance which I very highly doubt he will. So be it. But whining at the club and calling them "shambolic" over it is imo a joke.

Rubbish comment everyone deserves a second chance still maybe you know what did happen I agree to a certain extent but some things there’s certainly no going back on. Only people who know exactly what’s happened could possibly comment whether he deserves a second chance. Yes it’s a real shame about Grant and what he’s done. We paid money for him and he was asset to the club - now he is worthless to us and we’re still paying his wages due to no fault of the clubs. It’s getting to the stage where I fear the worst that he’s going to get paid off if he’s not gone elsewhere by the end of the transfer market. We have to trust Ricketts has made the right call and hope something happens soon. The real frustrating thing is we could do with him on the pitch as he’d walk into this team.

That's the point, as fans we dont have a clue whats happened... the lack of clarity means that fans when hey can see an ultra weak midfield and remember back to when Grant was bossing it will ask why the hell he cant get another go when we actually need him.
walker in the sitting MF position will likely help lose us most games where Ricketts try's that!
