Saw on twitter that today - 24th October is when Hurst joined us in 2016, and its starting to look like 24th October 2018 might be the day he gets sacked by Ipswich. Strange how quickly things move in football.
Also watching the WBA v Derby game and commentators said Lampard was being lined up as Ipswich manager until Derby got a tip off he was looking for a job, and poached him at the last minute. Didn't know that as assumed Hurst had been Ipswiche's first choice.
Derby look to be building a good attacking side under Lampard and have just stuck 4 past West Brom so Ipswich fans must be really frustrated at getting Hurst instead of Lampard right now

what is helping Ipswich is that the teams around them are just as bad ,saying that they are only 11 points behind Swansea and they are 8th

Karma’s a b***h.
Somehow the sight of him standing on the touch line at Wembley, lifeless, unmotivated and clearly uninterested doesn’t look and feel as bad as it once did.

I'd love it if we parcelled off John-Lewis to Ipswich. LOVE IT!
Old Hurst looks like he's seen a ghost.

The fat lady is sounding pretty good to me at the minute. Doubt she will need to do too many encores though.
Been a good couple of days, Town turning in a good display and result, Ipswich doing what they do well these days too.

Watched the second half of Ipswich tonight . They were absolute dog s**t ! If I’d have been watching first half, I’d have nipped out and got some popcorn at half time . Enjoyed every minute .

Forgot to say...I was thinking of going on their message board and starting a thread entitled 'Rumours doing the rounds' but I decided not to rub salt in their wounds.Does anyone know whether the little man has started sending Deputy Doig out to do the post match interviews yet by the way?

I just hope he's sitting next his furious chairman on the coach back to Ipswich feeling as miserable as I did when Judas ****ed off on holiday after betraying his former chairman and club after our fruitless trip to Wembley.
I hope you enjoy every mile of the return journey, Judas, I really wish I could be the coach driver, it would be a slow, slow journey.

Dead man walking and he knows it.
Ipswich manager Paul Hurst told BBC Radio Suffolk:
"We're going to need every single player to stick together and be ready for some battles that are ahead.
"All I will do is continue to go about the job and until I hear differently. Realistically if nothing's said, I will get on with it.
"If something's said, we'll deal with that message, whatever it is."

Nowt against Rotherham, but Hurst's favourites are hardly covering themselves in glory in the Championship.
Could be a double relegation.
Meanwhile, as Tony Kelly said, "John Askey is a good man, he'll get it right".
If I wasn't driving in the morning, I'd probably have a beer......

I don't expect anything from the already established brain-dead Shrewder and Czarcasm. If JT would make a little effort this may become fun.

Dunna worry about me, mon.
I don't take a fence. I'm thoroughly enjoying the banter.
Oh, by the way, have I called you "Big Nose" yet?
If not, I'd say "sorry", but I never apologise.

Deary me Franny, I did politely request a short while ago that you keep your sanctimonious views to the cricket thread but unfortunately you were unable to heed my advice. Your hoiler than thou attacks on some of the b&a’s most esteemed posters has made you the embarrassment of this board and (in the words of Hailshamshrew) you seem like a nasty piece of work. However unlike the aforementioned I’m not going to suggest that you could be a “top bloke” in person. What you don’t seem to be able to realise is that you’re the most salty and pathetic person continually spouting virtriol at all and sundry on here just because they don’t share the same opinion as you. Go and have a cold shower.

And in meantime, the Ipswich coach is slowly meandering it's way back towards Suffolk, with a clueless driver having no idea where he's going.......
I'll bet the bloke holding the steering wheel isn't much better.

Seems it's that time again, I didn't go, distance and other responsibilities wouldn't permit it but seems just as well as by all accounts it was pretty grim up there tonight.
Team in 1st position beats the one in last you can say. All very well, but I would have liked to have read about a bit more passion and determination from the players, seems Leeds could, or should, have scored five or six and somehow I don't doubt it.
Hurst made some mention after the game according to the BBC Sport page about how there will be some talk with a higher authority in the time soon but just seems like empty information to me. In the simplest terms, Marcus Evans and / or Paul Hurst need to F... off in the immediate time ahead as together this is proving a lethal cocktail. Some say it was the worst performance they have seen from a Town side for many years I have read tonight but after the crap of recent years it doesn't seem to be saying much.
Won't take up any more of the forum's time tonight, going to the Millwall game coming up soon as it's within reach and the away costs are satisfactory. Regardless of expense it would appear a futile journey but I continue with it even though there is a real threat of relegation by end of season appearing within sight and above all else, have been with the club long enough now to show more pride than to simply quit or walk away. Bid you good night.
