Charlton missed 2 free headers and they didn't miss the third. Town yet to create anything of note.

Anyone want to predict we'll be alright without Ogogo now?
Ah well, it's still been a blinding season.

PH fell out with Stefan Payne or somat....our top goal scorer and he doesn’t play him....the Charlton goal was coming for 10 / 15mins yet PH did nothing to stop the flow...really disappointing tonight...

There's little consolation from an abject 2nd half. Devoid of creativity, little composure at the back and beyond clueless going forward. If there is any small positive it is that we now have four games to refocus for the play offs. That said, if we're up against teams like Charlton tonight who clearly want it then beyond doubt our season will end in a whimper.
Nsiala now limping off to complete an awful awful night so far.
All the more disappointing given Wigan are still on course to drop points.

Need to rest players now and get as many fit and up for a fight in the play offs. Looks like Blackburn have been let off the hook by us and Wigan. Gutted

Was not confident of a win but did not expect to lose. Need to go back to basics now, nothing to lose and find out how to win again.

85th minute to put someone up top that we were crying out for since the 60th min.

Could be a great result if the fans and management now accept automatic promotion is over and we all now concentrate on the playoffs. Let's try some things out, a kind of mini pre-season.

Not much to say about that really. As insipid a 2nd half as I've ever seen. Really poor given the context. It's been said before but worth repeating - this season is catching up with us. Our fitness and grit and high intensity play has far too often masked our inability to score. Tonight, without any of those strengths we were exposed for what we really are, which is a team that simply doesn't know where it's next goal is coming from. At least at Bradford we missed a few presentable chances in a halfway decent performance but there was nothing tonight. Nothing at all. In the end we were far too easily beaten by a team that clearly wanted it so much more.
At least we have four games to refocus for the play offs, perhaps rest a few tired legs. But any more games like that and we'll certainly not be making that walk up Wembley Way in May.

On this form at least don't have to go back to Wembley. And we get a day out at Sunderland next year.

Seems unlikely but nothing really changes.
Peterborough beat Blackburn and we beat Bury and it’s game on. Yes it seems unlikely right now given tonight’s performance but let’s not throw in the towel just yet.
I do worry however after Hurst’s rallying call that we still fail to get 6k in the ground, yes it’s a midweek game but this was a massive game tonight. Not saying it would have made a difference to the performance but I do worry that Hurst may become disillusioned with the response.
Bad day at the office all round.

Hurst out? Shocking result but it times like these we've got to remember where we've come from, get behind the lads and on to the next game.
