All PR is good PR in regards spreading the news that the campaign is ongoing.
When it comes to your post most people will deduct that it has very little value at all - except for highlighting that someone has got off their backside and supported the campaign.

Okaaaay.
According to that article we are a) shortly due to receive a large donation from BCFC (which isn't yet reflected on Tifosy) or b) they're guilty of shoddy journalism.
If it's a) it's great news.

Well Bristol City did have a shirt for auction so I can forgive them for poor aspects to the he reporting. It is therefore not written well - but if can signpost me to your contributions to spreading the news about the campaign then we can compare effects.

This comment stuck in Inspector Swan's craw:
Donating a f*** load was my preferred method of helping. I don't think I've called out a single Salopian for their commendable fundraising efforts, although you seem to have no such qualms.
Not sure why you've got a beach-load of sand up your va-jay-jay about someone criticising the written efforts of a person from Colchester, whilst highlighting it may be good news for Shrewsbury Town. Very odd.

I am concerned that this campaign may be in danger of grinding to a halt...
I have asked Tifosy as to how they plan to reinvigorate this campaign...they have still to respond.

We have a meeting arranged with a local business next week to talk sponsorship so that's good. Other irons in the fire. Going to do another letter writing campaign targeting magazines, newspapers and other football related businesses. Was on BBC new last week. Still ticking up slowly with the auctions.
Slowly slowly catches mon(k)ey

Is there a fans parliament meeting on Tuesday? If so can it be added to the agenda for an update? I've emailed Tifosy for an update on how they plan to complete this but to date have had no response. Makes you wonder if they have given up on this one!

Can someone also ask if there is any news re a remembrance of Smithy yet? This has been going on in the background Sheila, don't worry about that. It will be on the agenda for Tuesday though now that discussions have taken place with Chris' family.

£50,058 now raised, but also say 80% of the target raised? Have I missed something as this doesn't add up. Is 75k still the target or had it been reduced?

Well done Bristol City supporters club for a generous donation. Anyway, that's some re-calculation, I can really feel this becoming reality now. Exciting times all round. 👍

All good news. I see the OSC have made a donation, does anyone know if the Superblues or Trust have?

All good news. I see the OSC have made a donation, does anyone know if the Superblues or Trust have? As far as am I'm aware, the Trust doesn't have any funds, but the SuperBlues have donated substantial amounts for a scoreboard and retractable tunnel in the past, so they should be a good bet to donate.

How much was the retractable tunnel? I haven't seen it for ages and if we've still got it, could it be sold?

How much was the retractable tunnel? I haven't seen it for ages and if we've still got it, could it be sold? There have been TWO retractable tunnels to my knowledge at the New Meadow. I would pull it out in the morning on a match day and lock all the wheels out. First thing the stewards would do when they arrived would be to pack it away. Otherwise it would mean putting it away just before kick-off, having to pull it out at half time and put it away and at the end of the game. In reality it should have been pulled out ALL the time and only put away during match time. This is because the heavy duty plastic cover collects water which goes green and rots the cover, hence the need for a replacement tunnel a few years back. I did try explaining this to office based staff at the time. One even questioned me with "what do you know you only cut the grass"
