I have not been to a match since Crewe last April bank holiday. This news is just heartbreaking. I will be there tomorrow to respect the 35th minute. I can only imagine the heartbreak the family are going through and hope that it is something the rest of us will never have to bare. God bless all who are suffering, you are all in our thoughts.

Cannot comprehend the grief their family must be experiencing at the moment. RIP Rob, and let's hope that you and Nick can watch over us winning a league title and promotion, as there would be no more fitting tribute to the pair of you.

Heartbreaking - I can't even begin to imagine how the family are feeling at this time. Like many, Nick was 'just' a username on here and/or a friendly face at games. Hopefully us as a Salop 'family' can do him proud later today, and what better tribute than to win the title in a few weeks. RIP Nick.

I see in the Shropshire Star that Portsmouth FC have issued a condolence statement. That is surely what league football, particularly at the lower levels is all about. In times of distress a footballing family.

So so sad. RIP.
I assume the club will know and extend the tributes to Rob today, too? It would be awful only to acknowledge Nick's passing in the 35th minute.

Going to football matches is often a family affair and so it will feel right today to be clapping for Rob and Nick standing next to my daughter.
We will all get of our seats and stand to applaud won't we? I don't want to be told to sit down part way through.

Seems like we were premature on this news. Ian Whits has posted on FB
Robert Mann - Robert is still critical but stable - Just spoken to a family friend and this is the latest, he hasn't passed away.
Thoughts are with the family no matter what.

News out now that Rob and Nick's father went to inform their Grandfather of the news, however found him dead also. Just absolutely unimaginable if true
