Devastating news,
Could happen to anyone and I hope his brother pulls through.
Nick ASFAR @ashortfanzine · Mar 28
Dominating 2-0 performance. Probably my favourite #salop awayday this season.
he was there on Saturday too, gutting to see a fellow fan in these circumstances. Rest in Peace and hopefully a minute silence vs Dagenham.

Pretty certain it is nickasfar. Used to see him on train or tube coming back from games as he lived in Wimbledon and saw him at Pompey on Saturday. Heartfelt condolences to his family.RIP

We had a drink with him and his brother in the Brewers Arms before the game on Saturday. Saw and chatted to them a lot at Salop games. Very nice guy.
I am absolutely f@cking stunned.

I met Nick at a pub before the Wimbledon game (and his brother Robert later on in the season) and enjoyed a few pre match drinks in their company at a few away games this season, really saddened and shocked at this news rest in peace Nick and praying that Robert can pull through and make a full recovery...

Absolutely gutted at this news. Went to a few games a season with Nick over the course of the last 15-20 years. He was a great lad, a properly dedicated fan and his incredible bravery at the very end was matched in the numerous times I saw him stand up to racism in the stands/terraces over the years.
We've lost one of our very best. We'll be thinking of you, mate, and all thoughts with Rob in the hopes of a full recovery.

Something like this is always sad but when you know or at the very least have had some contact with the person, it is not only sad but tragic.
My thoughts go to all his family and all of you who knew him personally. I also wish the very best to his brother.

One time earlier this season, I met them both in the Prince of Wales. They had their mother with them, and were heading for the game. She seemed like a lovely woman.
She must be completely devastated.
