“Physically I am bigger, stronger and quicker. “I still know some of the lads at Shrewsbury and I’m sure they will think they know my game. But I have changed considerably. “It might be an unpleasant surprise for them.” ...sounds like his ego's got bigger as well. Read it and take it in Connor, perhaps you can burst his bubble. He's 22. A very young lad. I have no doubt whatsoever that despite finding himself at a club a division higher and scoring one or two his move away from the Town would have hurt him (ego or otherwise). So from that it's no surprise he is coming out with all this sort of stuff. All bravado no doubt as he's desperate to show everyone involved that he has done OK since moving on from Town. Hope he gets a decent reception from the Town fans anyhows. Considering he is from the town and has been seen down the Meadow it would suggest he is a Town fan. So we should be looking to treat one of our own with a fair bit of respect...

If I was Walsall, I'd be wondering why on earth they let Ryan Woods go. And going back 20 years Wayne Clarke. Thank you Walsall!

Still doesn't have a first touch and you can't coach that into someone!

Don't disagree with any of that, but billy big balls talk can often come back and bite you, far better to do his talking on the pitch really.

He is one player whose career I will always follow closely given that he grew up in my home town of Tywyn and played his earliest football down the road at Aber Town. He's doing well at the moment, let's hope he continues to do so, apart from tomorrow that is!

Nah, disagree. Widespread cases of players not celebrating against former clubs is a fairly modern trait, and one that is actually a pretty egotistical way of suggesting "Look at me, I'm so noble and dignified for not celebrating against a club that employed me for a couple of years." I'll just about make an exception for incredibly long-standing servants of a particular club (Lampard against City for example) but in most cases I find it intensely irritating. Spin it the other way around. If Andy Mangan had been at Walsall for four years when we signed him and he banged in the winner on Saturday, would you rather see him do a muted celebration out of respect for our local rivals, or going crazy in front of our fans with the rest of the team? Walsall are Bradshaw's current employers, and I can't blame him for wanting to endear himself towards the fans who ultimately pay his wages.

Another good one, not as good as some, but a definite contender.
Looks like Granny was right, bless her.
