Scored today for Walsall in League One.
I'm sure it'll be the first of many, shame we didn't offer him more to stay really.

He scored a few for us at the start of last season. Hope he does well, but one swallow doesn't make a summer.

Not gonna judge off one game but I'm happy for the lad, never had anything against him. Wish him very well, just hope he doesn't haunt us.

Surely the saying is; One swallow does not a summer make! But judging on this summer it is about a 20th of a drink in Magaluf.

Him going was the best thing for all parties. If he had stayed here then I doubt he would be first choice with Collins & Vernon being here so he would have continued to be a bit-part player.
He's just another player (and there's been alot in recent years) who have moved on elsewhere, no feelings towards him either way.

One ex Shrewsbury Town striker whose progress I will be following this season is Andre Gray. It will be interesting to see if he can make an impact in the Championship.

Watching Collins tonight was almost tear inducing compared to the rubbish we had last year.
Just seeing someone make a run.
And the way Vernon cushions a header.
And the ball goes to another blue shirt.
Onwards and upwards chaps.

regardless of how many Collins scores , he runs himself into the ground and throws his weight around every time! Precisely! He just looks like he wants to win the ball. And puts himself about.

He scored one goal. Good lord, you saw what happened to him last season. He had some good games yes, but he also had a lot more bad games. Heck, Tam had a few good games and look at what we think of him. Get over it.

Fran, to be fair, the worst job in football last year was being a striker for STFC, as they had no one getting in crosses for them or capable of delivering a decent ball for them to convert, FWIW, i think Tom will go and have a good season, but also believe it was right for him to move on.

Well the thing is, players will move on from clubs, no matter what. He might have been good for us this season, he might not have been. In my personal opinion he would still be 3rd or 4th striker. However, based on performances for us, the number of chances he was actually given then I don't think there was much of a choice, no matter what he goes on to achieve.
