From that article...... "Carragher tried to apologise to Nani after the game but it is understood the Portuguese was unwilling to engage with the defender, who was denied access by United's players to their dressing room. He then waited outside with the intention of saying sorry but Nani is understood to have walked by" Nani needs to grow up !

Clutching at straws when you start linking to The Sun and Mirror! Seems strange that Nani's thoughts are being printed in the papers when there is a media blackout

I’m reminded of King Canute looking at Pilch’s efforts on this thread… Let me just change the name there so there is no confusion...

From what I could see, it was a horrific challenge from Carragher on Nani. Throw the apology out of it, because it's a side issue.
In addition, Rafael was lucky to stay on the pitch, as was whoever fouled him in the build-up.
All in all, pretty unedifying watching at least 3 players deliberately deliver 3 potentially career-shortening tackles in the same game.
Utd's reaction to the last 2 results has also been very poor. You would hope for at least a bit of class from them.
No-one comes out of this with credit.

I totally agree and perfectly summed up Just to lower the tone again, to be quite frank had I been nani I would have lamped him one had he been waiting for me Some things are just not excusable

Eh?? Always good of you to bring a thread back up and then dismiss the reply. I'd love to see Nani attempt to "lamp" Carragher, and fail. Everyone's (well mostly just one person now) talking about this challenge like it's the worst thing thats ever occured on a football pitch. It was 2 days ago now, get over it.
