Man U would not even let Phelan be interviewed after the game today, and asked all of their players not to talk to the media. PATHETIC

Its more a question of what the Man Utd supporters want, and what their sponsers who put millions into the club expect. Although I would have enjoyed one of them talking complete b******s for 2 minutes

To be fair.
Ferguson gets criticised for saying his opinion, and gets criticised for not saying anything?

So, the so called "peoples" club, lose. Iwould have thought the people would be very sad, but, surprise surprise, most of the people i know are very, very happy with the result. How strange.

It's amazing how many man u haters follow every move they make I wonder what they are hoping for at times Maybe this
Fergie has just spoken to the BBC
He was delighted with the result , and the ref was right not to send off carragher He hopes the poor run continues and that Liverpool make an amazing run and clinch the title

To be fair. Ferguson gets criticised for saying his opinion, and gets criticised for not saying anything? It's a contractual obligation to speak to the media after all games, whether or not Mr Ferguson's upset or not he's the only man who flaunts this rule as and when he feels. The punishment's obviously not big enough.

Most Utd fans are very very bad losers and they get this from Fergie himself, not looking at people on here but people I know/have known who are fans. Remember once chatting to my boss (Utd supporter) about footy, at the time (few years back) Arsenal were well ahead of Utd. Think Arsenal were playing that night and I made a casual comment of 'Arsenal playing very well at the moment' - you'd think I'd just wandered into his house, s**t on the kitchen table, shagged his missus and taught his kids the c-word!

It doesn't bother me if arsenal win the league They are a nice team to watch recently I would hate it if city, Chelsea or spurs won it And I'd be sick and probably crap on someones kitchen table if Liverpool did ;-)

Nice to see Carra apologise for the tackle and wait for Nani afterwards so he could speak to him directly.
Shame Rafael couldnt show the same level of class, mind you did any United staff say anything after the game?!

He would have only come out with some rubbish like "the best team lost" like he did when they lost 4-1 at OT a couple of season's back. I just think it's funny how an old man can throw his toys out of the pram in such a childish and petulant way.

So, all this anti-media hoo-hah started after a documentary on BBC3 about one of his lads?
Lucky they never did one about Darren's utter failure at PNE as well then, he'd be having a TV & radio jamming signal pumped out of OT towards Oxford Road.
He'll probably get the club fined for not being co-operative, then resign in disgust at the media, just so he has someone to blame for " driving him out of the game", rather than admitting he's just losing his touch and should retire.
