Emma has an opinion that she belives in...I don't get why every is questioning it?........She's only putting her voice across yet everyones quizzing.......even saying its cause Peters doesn't like Tolley or what ever. Come on guys she has an opinion that she is intitled to..she does not have to explian every part of it. It's called having a discussion mr guest. If you say something most people don't agree with then surely you expect people to question why you believe it. The World would be a very boring place if everyone agreed on everything with each other...

its nothing to do with if gp thinks tolley is a good player or not. he wasnt over complimentary, i know. and jamie has gotta work on certain aspects of his game, i do go every week and i can see that im not blinded by his beauty that much at the end of the day its my opinion, and i will stick by it. im not saying you all have 2 agree with me-i wouldnt anyway- but im just saying that i dont think hes being 100% honest with us.he may not say the truth when it comes to players admittedly, but when he comes across so genuine etc etc i would hope he would be honest as to what happened when they went in for their meetings with him. i know he hasn't and would only think its right for him to be. no point in telling half a story if your gonna come across as mr nice guy being so honest etc as for you rob-no ure speakers are working but u choose not to hear because i dont agree with u oh and pilch-yes i didnt think the youth board was a good idea at first, i dont mind being proved wrong, its a part of life

I don't think Gary Peters is a nice bloke - I think he is a bit of a barsteward, and given where he has learned the game that is hardly surprising.
But if he is a barsteward then he is our barsteward. And by "our" I mean the fans'.
By not signing a contract he has been able to put himself in a strong negotiating position with the board. And bring to their attention the effect of a Mr McAwber approach to running the football club. The meeting last night was about getting the fans behind him so that his negotiating position is even firmer going forward.
Gary Peters' strength of character is the best chance we have of unpicking years of neglect at the football club of the basic requirements to sustain a competive professional sports club.
I think the position is an exciting one on the football field. Football is a young man's game and from the spectator's point of view it is a better game when played by young men. I genuinely believe that we will enjoy watching the players he brings in this summer grow individually and gel as a team.

Fropm what GP said we are not necessarily going to have a team of youngsters. He intends to brong in experienced players as well for the youngster to learn from.
He also said that Langmead may be a better asset next season if he is coming on from the bench so look out for two strikers who are better from Langmead.
Interestingly he also said if would not be his side until season 2006/7 when the last of the existing players contract are up which means he doen't fancy some of the players contracted for next season.

Agree with your analysis of GP's tactics Sean but....' not a nice bloke and a bit of a barsteward' may be a little harsh mate!!

Quote from Gary at the reserve game v Man U.
A lad came up to him and said, 'there are scouts watching your 'keeper' (Howie)
GP ' Tell them they can have him and that they're watching the wrong one'

We keep hearing GPs five year plan for the club, but what if we might see the clubs five year plan for Gary Peters instead. He has atitude to win and if only as a football manager with us he deserves the chance to show the club what he is made of,no less than anybody before. One thing that interests me is the ability to please the fans that post on websites and the way they think about the players at the club. give the man a chance, thats the least he deserves.

At the end of the day he's had to tell various members of his team that they wont have a job anymore, all those players are probably p&ssed off about that, but the alternative is they get new contracts and STFC has another season of struggling. I know which I'd rather.
