This doesn't have to be a long winded political thread. I would like to get a varied age group poll, now that the majority of manifestos have been introduced. It would be interesting to see how our poll would compare to the likes of Mori, BBC etc etc.

Would be interesting Bilbo to add a "Dont know" and Won't vote"
Think you would get a few in both of those categories.

Monster Raving are cool Lord Sutch was his name? Shame he died. Hilarious when he went chasing that bus in London screaming "we won't let you down!!!!!" 99p coin is the cleverest idea any political party has ever had ;D

Bilbo I think this may be a slightly biased poll as the Tories havent done themselves any favours with STFC fans

I'm voting for the sitting MP Matthew Green. Who happens to be Liberal Democrat. I don't agree with quite a few of the Liberal Democrat's policies but as they won't get into government that doesn't really matter.

Looks like Cynical Shrew has made his vote as there is one for the BNP. Unfortunately i am one year away from being able to vote, however, if I was able to it would be the Lib Dems.

Interesting that!!! Cynical posts as a guest, so would be unable to vote? Current ICM POLL for N of the W . Labour 42% Conservatives 30% Lib Dems 20%. That would mean a landslide victory for Labour by 150+ seats.

How do I register to vote? If I have never had one of those declaration of people of voting age in the household forms (see this is the stuff they should teach you in schools things that you need to know when you have moved out of home)
As i never had a card for the local elections im guessing im not registered and ive not had any candidates at my door yet to ask

Who are the 13 people who have been voting for the torries after all the wonderful ( ) things they've done for STFC's new ground? And why!

I really don't expect people on here to vote labour just because of the Town Ground issues. The vote seems to be roughly what I expected. I will leave it for one more day and see how it ends up

17 votes I'd NEVER vote for the current regime of local Conservatives after what they have done to our football club, but agree with more of their national issues than I do with any other party so they will get my general election vote on May 5th.

LAB overall majority: 320 SEATS WON LAB 483 CON 138 LIB DEM 3 OTH 22 would be the result on the percentage shown at the moment

it would take a 22.5 swing from Con to Labour to remove every Con from office

As Phil says, the decision as to who you should vote for at a general election needs to be based on far more important things than what a small bunch of councillors may or may not have done for a provincial football club
