So any news on the replay date and is JK going to stick by what he said about playing the youngsters, or are the FA going to step in and tell the Premier League to back off? Maybe they will move it back a couple of weeks to a week before the 5th round to allow 1st teamers to play. Personally would like them to play the yoongsters and we have a good chance of progressing and earning more money. Also what does the away end hold at Anfield.

No. No more accommodating these Premier League Clubs. The replay should take place the week after next.

FA Cup rules dictate that we are entitled to 15% of the stadium capacity, e.g. around 8000 tickets, unless safety concerns mean this should be reduced. As said above the Anfield Road Stand, their away end at the opposite end to The Kop, holds just over 9000.

Spurs vs Southampton confirmed for Wednesday so hoping ours will be Tuesday. Thanks to a very understanding boss I've managed to move some things around on Wednesday so could leave Suffolk by 13:00 but Tuesday works much better for me, and imagine with all the interest in this we'll be the Tuesday tv game and Spurs the Wednesday one.

It's likely that the full compliment of Shrewsbury fans at Anfield will be making more noise than any Liverpool fans that turn up. Who would have thought that could possibly ever happen?

Not certain to be on tv yet, although it could be if it is it will come down to us or Oxford v Newcastle on the Tuesday, I would think

Any chance of a ‘singers’ block like we had at Wembley?

Any chance of a ‘singers’ block like we had at Wembley? Was going to ask something similar, we need some sort of arrangement in place. I think this needs its own thread when the date is confirmed. I'd like to see the drum and all singers at the front in the middle of the stand.

Any chance of a ‘singers’ block like we had at Wembley? I’m hoping they release the tickets to all STH and loyalty point holders above say 5 together (we know that will sell around 7k) at the same time cos otherwise you’ll struggle to get seats together....

I reckon they will do 4 and above for that reason I predict we'll sell about 4-5000

Will we all fit into Kirkby Avenue? After all, that's where Liverpool U23's play their home games

May have to sneak out and leave my colleague to it after a couple of hours, a quick drive down the road from Burscough just in time for KO!

Block 19 regulars should get first dibs.
‘The lifeblood of the club’ as Micky Mellon once sagely noted.
Fantastic noise from its singers and drummer last night; relentless 👏

If Klopp and LFC are unhappy about the replay being in the middle of their mid-season break, then I’m sure that RW and BC would be more than happy with a £1m compensation package, a bye into Round 5 and maybe a couple of their promising youngsters on loan for the rest of this season and all of next?
We wouldn’t want to put LFC in a predicament where they have to play a replay at Anfield after being dragged back to 2-2 on Sunday (and lucky to not be defeated)

On the FA web site it's Tuesday 4th Feb: 19:45 Liverpool VS Shrewsbury Town subject to being selected for live TV, as they all are.
