I reserve the right to criticise if we lose another play-off final.

Its a bit cheap to use a moment of massive celebration which should unite the fan base to jeer at people with different opinions to you. This is half the problem with this board at the moment.

Great win and a nice pay day.
Fantastic performance and we even had 13 shots!
But Saturday is what matters. All this means very little unless we sharpen up in the league. Let’s hope we carry this momentum on and not get distracted.

Let’s hope we carry this momentum on and not get distracted. Which bit of running a football club as a business don't you get. This is huge to the club from a financial point, regardless of Saturday, and gives the club much needed revenue. If it wasn't for the odd opportunities like this you may be looking at a very different club, playing in a different league.

Amazing win tonight, so happy we've beaten another higher opposition team and will be hosting Liverpool a week on Sunday!
Does one game change my view on Ricketts though? Absolutely not. Even Kevin Ratcliffe had his day against Everton. No doubting that Ricketts is a good cup manager mind.
I'll enjoy tonight, then hopefully we can go to Fleetwood on Saturday and get another win.

Jesus when can we have a "thumbs down" button on this board? It might just help disliking posts without trying to explain why.

Holy ****! Just saw we pitch invaded!!! Some people bloody love money 😀 Let the kids have their fun on the pitch eh? It was only a third round replay? Yes, a giantkilling against a side a league above.......but....that's a very 'tepid' pitch invasion by any standard This might earn Ricketts a contract extension!!

I wonder if this money for the next round and tv will have any effect on who we might go in for in the transfer window?

Nah I’ll still moan if we are bored to death or poor, thanks.
Tonight was class though. Credit when it’s due! If Ricketts can get them producing that in the league regularly he’ll be a very good manager indeed. Let’s see.

Jeering? Don’t think so. I’d suggest the other half of the problem with this message board is people getting upset about nothing in particular. But anyway, tonight’s not the night for that. Well done all.

I would give my right eye at to play Shrowsbury at the Cae Ras in the FA Cup.
But it doesn't look on the cards at the moment.
When, not if, that happens. You can expect the traditional warm welcome the the town of Wrexham is famous for. Ever lasting bonds and memories.
We look forward to seeing you all very soon!

Blimey, we seem to go through this sort of thing each and ever season on here. I can only think its the visitors from other clubs on this board who are the only ones on here who aren't 100% behind the club. I'm sure each and every Town fan here wants what is best for the club. Just that we have different opinions on how that could be achieved. S'all. I like things as they are; where we see varying and different opinions, a place where we see people praise and we see people criticize as they see fit...👍 As it says on the tin... B&A Shrewsbury Town Messageboard Discuss everything STFC and other general topics here .
Not all subjects are to everyones liking, if you find certain topics boring then please just ignore them.
Disclaimer: Those of you who are in the public eye please be warned that there may be posts discussing you that are not always complimentary, players, staff and even fans of STFC, this includes YOU!

The business side is obviously important but I’m talking about the results in the league on the pitch. I agree both go hand in hand but the league is the most important thing we get right at the moment because it’s just not happening. This will all be forgotten very quickly if we get beat 2-0 again on a Saturday with just one shot on target. Still not sure about your point. I never once said it wasn’t a good thing financially for the club?
