Johnson: "EFL needs Wrexham more than Wrexham needs EFL." Promotion deal 'a 5 minute job' claims bullish PM.

Well well well...
You all failed to mention last night that you'd lost the Shropshire Senior Cup Final to... (drumroll rising to a crescendo)....
Whitchurch Alport
Never mind telling me they were your academy players. I haven't checked but, an ex-Shrew, told me today that you had four players in that side who were a little more (cough) advanced than the academy.
You've all gone on about winning the Shropshire Cup in the past. Clamoured for tickets when you've played Telford.. This is a comedown for you. Whitchurch Alport.
That was your only realistic chance of silverware this season!

Gavin Cowans would be a good appointment for Wrexham. Let's hope they don't!

Your concern about our plight is overwhelming! Especially after your own side got thrashed by Fleetwood. I must confess to feeling slightly irate that the manager of Connah's Quay Nomads Ady Morrison is the favourite to land the Racecourse hot seat. Connah's Quay flipin' Nomads? How low can we drop? It's enough to drive you to drink. Connah's Quay flipin' Nomads? Is this a joke? link

Mr Ricketts didn't take too long to realise the Wrexham job was not going anywhere. The Nomads guy wouldn't settle either.
Wrexham could become a club on the move, but it could be downwards.
The answer for our noble Wrexham fan is to shift his allegience, but I understand how difficult that would be for someone who still remembers all those long years ago when Wrexham were on the up.

Another poor night for our resident Wrexham supporter. Don't let him divert attention and start another thread, he belongs here. 1425 attendance. Doesn't say how many away fans. Probably 5. The players probably froze when they came up against a big club like Solihull. www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/49805905

Bump. Can all Wrexham posts be concentrated on the fairly official approved thread? We don't want them clogging up sensible posts about much higher league football. We must remember we didn't qualify for the Tussocks Wafer Thin Mint Biscuit Trophy competition. So I'm sure most of us will be enthralled with Wrexham's local derby clash with the Helen Mirren under 14's tie.
You can follow it on THIS thread. Please don't be diverted with any trivia on irrelevant posts about non league football elsewhere.

Woking are in worse form than Wrexham despite being 4th (which is a bit mental!) - Losing to Woking would be pretty awful!

But Woking are at the top end of the table. The boys did well getting a draw, he will be out celebrating. That's the level it is for Wrexham these days.

Perhaps you'd like that nice Mr Hamilton and his sidekick Guterman to put in another bid and replace the Board? Both have now served their disqualification periods from being directors of a company. Mind you, the amount of profit made by Moss and Roberts from the student flats built on land once owned by the Club have now made Wrexham of less interest to property developers, unless Glyndwr University want to build more flats over the Racecourse! Maybe Bury might now be of interest? I believe Macclesfield are slowly sinking too. www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/49660849
