With Williams our for the foreseeable future I’d like to see a 4-4-2 although imagine it would be unlikely . Until Norburn returns and with Laurent possibly out too. O’leary Love Ebanks landell Pierre Golbourne Whalley Vincelot Edwards Giles Morrison Okenbirhie How long is Williams out for?

Yeah. 442 with Morrison playing up front. For a start Love has not played alot of football and will not be able to play 40 plus games as a wing back ! Whalley and Giles would offer "natural" protection to the full backs and Morrison would get more to feed off. At the moment we have seven plus players at one time with a defensive mind set, but we're not creating anything! Whilst Norburn and Grant are out were getting over run with three in the middle, so we might as well just play two and be more of an attacking threat!

What makes you think love cannot play 40 games as a wing back?

Tuesday night might be a good opportunity to vary the tactics with a CB injured. I doubt it though. An unwillingness to change from 5 at the back and being unable to improve the midfield/attacking play could be Ricketts downfall.

With hindsight, my suggestion is that MK Dons v Shrewsbury Town should have been called off due to the inclement weather.

Even though he is young, his injuries will had some impact on him. Not even sure we've seen him get into a decent advanced position yet as everything attacking seems to come down the left. I think he'd work better with Whalley likewise Golbourne with the Wolves kid.

Robbed as far as I’m concerned Edwards hits bar and their goalie pulls off great save from him from distance. Morison decent chance and Giles just wide with a thunderbolt. Couldn’t see them scoring, back look very solid. And what about the pull on Whalley in the box?, cast iron penalty for me. Then there was the cynical yellow carder tackle on Whalley preventing an albeit long run in on goal. Plus Pierre’s 60 yard run with just an over hit final ball? Still much better than last year imho and far too soon to panic.

Fine margins.... Dissapointing result but the teams seemed very similarly set up . The difference seemd to be the MK late substitutions.
Fairly inexperience of Ricketts over the very very experienced Tisdale. Not a criticism of Ricketts just a fact.

But even the ball into the box from the sub for the goal was rubbish. Would have drifted into O’Leary’s arms but for the unfortunate header.

That goal was just horrible to concede, could we blame this one on a communication issue? Can understand Ebanks trying to get some contact on it if he was unaware of any imposing threat in the box at the time but surely the keeper could have made his shout to leave it to him? O'Leary has looked reasonably solid so far though and conceding goals like this does happen but just such a sickener in the 93rd minute...

Draw I think would have been a fair result. Very few shots on goal by either side. Couldn’t blame anyone for the goal, it was just unfortunate. As said a lot before we do need another striker and midfielder.

Sounded absolutely sickening to concede in that manner, but with the way we are set up and with the players available we seem to be both creating and conceding very few chances at either end so “freak” results like this and last weekend could be most likely for the foreseeable future.

would people accept a snoozefest of a season if we finish 13/14th?

would people accept a snoozefest of a season if we finish 13/14th? Make it 10-12th and yes. I don't think we've had a mid table safe finish for at least the last 6 seasons? 12/13 we finished 16th but from 10/11 to present we've either been top 4th or 18th down...
