Another sitter.
Switched off again, should be 3-0.
This is dire.

One bright note. Ro-Shaun Williams is covering the gap left by Whalley. Honestly, I cannot believe Whalley is playing RWB, we are getting exposed down that side badly. Shocking decision by Ricketts that. He will have a lot of questions to answer after this one!! He has to change it and put players in their positions

3-5-2 isn’t working again..
Wish we’d go 4-3-3 and drop Beckles for Sears and move him to RB and push whalley up to the top 3
Our midfield are not in the game and they’re getting in down our right every time

Plymouth miss an absolute sitter for 2-0 - more woeful defending. We'll need to score twice to get anything out of this game. Plymouth are on a very good run of form at home, if they go 2-0 we won't come back from that tonight, I would fear they would go on to win very comfortably. We must keep this at 1-0 for as long as we can.

Ladapo missed another sitter from two yards. No words to say how atrocious we're defending tonight!

As an aside, Nsiala and Nolan are both starting for Ipswich in the Sky live game tonight. Josh Emmanuel makes his first appearance for Ipswich in nearly two years also. Not making the difference Lambert hoped. They are 1-0 down.

OK Sadler is slow but he could surely marshal this defence better than the way it is currently being organised.

....another chance missed - 4-0 wouldn't flatter Plymouth. No shape, no discipline, no effort, no energy. This is as poor a 35 mins as I've seen in a long time.

Dead balls aside Whalley looks up for this but the problem is with his sitting so deep when he gets the ball it doesn't tend to be in too forward a position. So he's a hell of a way out and many a player to beat before he gets close to their box... We need him much further up the pitch when he gets the ball.

Cheer up.
Wrexham 0 Barrow 3 Aldershot 0 Leyton Orient 2
Solihull, Fylde, Salford and even Harrogate will overtake Wrexham if they win their games in hand.

Just hoping we can keep this to 1-0 until halftime so Ricketts can make changes for the second half to give us some chance of getting some kind of foothold in this game.

A huge huge huge 2nd half coming up.
For me this is a massive 45 mins for Ricketts. If he can change the shape and the set up and try and effect the game in a way we have manifestly failed to do far then all well and good. But if it's another 45 mins of causal, disinterested and utterly shambolic football then it's time to go.

Where is Ryan Haynes tonight? Not even on bench?
Apparently, all that rotating made him giddy.

Positives?
It's only 1-0, Argyle should be out of sight already. Let's hope at the end of the night they're regretting all those missed first half chances.

Where is Ryan Haynes tonight? Not even on bench? He travelled down, as did Gillead, he's just a victim of this ridiculous policy of changing the left wing back every single game.

To get the win from being behind at the half. It's all very much brand new to him all this...
