Another interesting game in the South Africa v Sri Lanka series after the fabulous game last time out. Sri Lanka are in with a decent shout of going 2-0 up. They made it and very comfortably too ๐ A fantastic performance from Sri Lanka to win a series in South Africa, the first side from the sub-continent to do so. South Africa also having won their last seven home series before this.

Nobody would have predicted that considering going in SA had a fit and fresh squad and what Duanne Olivier did to Pakistan.

Start delayed in Grenada due to rain, they should have played it in England in this lovely sunshine.

I hope they start soon as Sky Sports have resorted to showing Bumble and Keysy off on fishing trips to fill the time.

Windies unchanged.
Two changes for England. Hales in for the injured Stokes and Woakes in for Curran. Hales to bat at three.
England won the toss and will field.

The weather is fine in Grenada this time, fingers crossed for an uninterrupted game.
Windies have won the toss and will field.
Windies team unchanged. Ben Stokes returned to the England side in place of the injured Jason Roy, presumably Hales will open.

13.5 overs WICKET - Bairstow b Thomas 56 (Eng 100-1) The squeeze from West Indies has been rewarded. Jonny Bairstow just tries to run the ball down to third man for a single but guides the ball back into his own stumps. That wicket comes at the end of a really good spell for West Indies. Bairstow looks really frustrated as he walks off.
17.3 overs WICKET - Root c Hope b Thomas 5 (Eng 120-2)
There's little doubt about that. The Ultra-edge shows a big spike as the ball goes past Joe Root's bat.
Oshane Thomas has his second wicket. West Indies are fighting back very well.
25.5 overs WICKET - Hales c Hetmyer b Nurse 82 (Eng 165-3)
No, Alex Hales smack Ashley Nurse around again. No, he will not reach three figures.

Sensational batting from England today even by their own very high standards, Buttler in particular has played an incredible innings. When you factor in the fairly slow outfield this would normally be worth a few more.

It's raining sixes.
This is brutal batting.

Buttler out for 150 from 77 balls, a stunning innings. England break the world record for the most sixes in an ODI innings (24) and Buttler hit half of those himself.

England finish on 418/6, their 3rd highest ODI total. Chris Gayle won't be able to start slowly again today if the Windies are to get these.

While Gayle was still in I thought the Windies were going to get the runs. They may still but Brathwaite is their last hope and England now big favourites. Quite a game!
Well bowled Mark Wood today, the only really effective bowler when the ball was flying to all parts, it shows the value of real pace.

34.1 overs WICKET
Gayle b Stokes 162 (WI 295-5) Gayle Getty ImagesCopyright: Getty Images
HUGE. Ben Stokes shivers the timbers and lets out an almighty roar. Chris Gayle is gone!
It's been a sublime innings from the West Indies opener. Sheer brutality in muscling a sparkling 162 from 97 balls, with 11 fours and 14 sixes.
Stokes goes round the wicket, Gayle steps away, looking to heave over the off side but misses and his stumps are rearranged.
Are England favourites now?
35.5 overs WICKET
Holder st Buttler b Rashid 29 (WI 301-6)
Got him! Jos Buttler's brilliant day continues.
Adil Rashid gets a bit of turn and bounce to bite the ball past Jason Holder's drive.
Buttler collects and makes not mistake with the stumping chance, the West Indies captain's hanging foot still short of the crease as the bails pop up.
Another huge blow to the hosts' chances. England on top.

4 wickets in 5 balls from Adil Rashid and it's all over in a flash, England win by 29 runs.

47.1 overs Nurse dropped on 41 Need 30 runs to win from 17 balls Ben Stokes can't take what would've been a brilliant diving grab at long-on and Ashley Nurse runs two. Stokes did well to get there but the ball just got away from him as he landed. 47.2 overs WICKET - Nurse c Plunkett b Rashid 43 (WI 389-7) BIG. Adil Rashid holds his nerve, tosses it up and Ashley Nurse skies it up off a top edge. Liam Plunkett steadies himself and takes the catch. 47.3 overs WICKET - Brathwaite c Morgan b Rashid 50 (WI 389-8) And now Carlos Brathwaite goes! 47.5 overs WICKET - Bishoo c Hales b Rashid 0 (WI 389-9) Cricket is an insane sport.
48 overs ENGLAND WIN BY 29 RUNS
Thomas st Buttler b Rashid 0 (WI 389 all out)
Madness. It's all over.

West Indies could and should have won that. 10 an over over the last 3 overs with 4 wickets intact and 2 batsmen well set was more than gettable.
I think we got out of jail there.

A very disappointing end to what has been a good ODI series and an end to England's winning streak of nine ODI series, but maybe a bit of a reminder that there is still work to do ahead of the World Cup this summer.
England are clearly the best ODI side in the World at the moment but it's certainly a concern that we are capable of chucking in a performance like this every now and then for no apparent reason. In a knock out scenario this summer to do so again will likely be disastrous.

Bayliss confirms Jofra Archer will feature for England in World Cup ODI warm up games against Ireland and Pakistan. www.bbc.co.uk/sport/cricket/47435883I'm a bit undecided on this. Archer is hugely talented and I'd love to see him in the England side, I'm just not sure the World Cup, with England having a very successful and settled side, is the right time to bring him in.
