Why’s Elliot Bennett showing as a defender? I think that’s where he’s likely to play. Done well so far if you ask me, looks pretty fit for his age. |

Sure I heard we’ve named 18 players so far in the squad so must presume 4 players have missed out so far…..
Presume Jayden Bevan but who are the other 3? Can only presume it’s Harry and Charlie but who’s the others?

Thanks for that but I’m still confused. We had Cameron Gregory on the bench yesterday and he’s not in the squad or is there an exception with keepers? |

You can name up to 20 that are 21 or over. You can name as many under 21 players as you like, ours are Jaden Bevan, Charlie Caton, Cameron Gregory and Nathanael Ogbeta, although we were all left a bit confused as to why Tom Bloxham was named in the squad as a senior player. |

Regarding the Tom Bloxham issue, I've done a bit of digging into this and spoken to a few people I know... i believe that Tom Bloxham is listed as a senior player as the club have to have a Club Developed Player (CPD) listed in the squad list, so they do not have to name one on each teamsheet. It may prove a little confusing, but attached below is the EFL ruling.   |

Acording to football manager goalkeepers are not included regardless of age. |

Depending on what vela does we could be without any midfielders 😅 I honestly think Leahy’s most natural position is a midfielder and I’d like him to continue as such next season. He’s a midfielder for me. |

the new defenders who have joined town when i looked them up on wikie they are just listed as defenders so does anyone know what is there best position and and we now got hte center back positions covered.
i noticed a few posts that we are still a bit light in midfield so what positions do people think we still need to be strengthened ?

I see we’ve included Xanda Parkes who it was reported signed a contract in June (although not showing in 1st team or academy on Shrewsweb yet updated with all other recent signings) yet Reece Thompson also signed his first contract 08/21…..(confirmed on his player profile)
Seems he’s the forgotten keeper? Thoughts?
