My first thought was to complain about paying £25. However, thinking about it, thanks to cheap cup tickets & a flexi-ticket I've so far saved £28 over 7 games (I would have gone to all 7 even if it was £20 each). So the club are clawing back £5 for me to see one of the countrys top clubs. I can live with that.

I'll put it another way . As far as I'm aware a home game is 1 loyalty point .if you've been to six home games this season and got your loyalty points , your not eligible until general sale . Fair ? A 5 match flexi-ticket would have saved £10 AND given an immediate 7 point bonus. Why would it be 7? I thought it was one point per game.

GUYS
Myself (through the SP) and (Dave aka TBH) have just had a response from Matt about the two main issues asked above.
1) Limit of tickets per ST, Loyalty points, general sale 2) Issues with the brackets for Loyalty points holders (and the lack of a bracket for 1-6 loyalty points)
He got back to us promptly and has said the club will look into it over the weekend and get back to us Monday if they can.
Good stuff.

Good stuff. Did you ask about priority queuing at the food counter; and using the exit doors of the gents to bypass the other patient mugs? These two issues are pretty high on the presidential agenda.

I've just been down to the ticket office . I have been to every game at home plus wimbledon leicester Preston Northampton and some others but because I didn't buy through stfc I cannot get a ticket until general sale . Tomorrow I have work in the morning but if I will be done by 10:30 which I hope to I will be travveling ! So I can't buy a ticket from stfc , feel abit hard done by , Jane Bebb said at the ticket office today if you bring those ticket stubs purchased at the away games they will be converted to loyalty points. It's 1 point for home game and 2 points per away game.
Big also... If you purchase a block of 5 match tickets for £90 before 20 Oct that will = 5 loyalty points so basically you can build your loyalty points up even now before 13 October by buying in advance. Sounds good to me!

Looks about right to me...it's always going to be difficult to please everyone when there's only 8000 odd tickets available. I shall be at home watching it on TV.
In the meantime let's turn our attention back to what really matters in the long run, our league campaign!

Well done to all concerned.

So a 5 game flexi ticket for £90 quid (B Cat) gives you 5 points right?

I've been to every home game, but paid at the turnstile for the Blackpool game, how will i get points for that? Also i get a ticket for my son for every home game but it looks like he doesn't have a supporter number, surely he should have the same loyalty points as me?

I paid cash at the turnstile for Blackpool too. From what I read, if you have your ticket stubs from the games you've attended, they will tot up your points. You can create a loyalty account when you buy on line, or I think the Club may also be able to create one when you buy at the ticket office.

You can't blame the club - an away tie would be preferable from a financial point of view. But £25 to see Chelsea reserves when it's on TV. Hmmm.

First season in 8 I haven't purchased a season ticket, so to say I'm slightly gutted is and understatement. That said I feel this is fair in all honesty and am happy with the outcome. All you season ticket holders who renewed after last season dross fully deserve this so fair play to you all : ) As for me, hoping to get my ticket with the loyalty points saved up.

I think the club are doing a great job in trying to look after fans who've been regulars this season.
The extra fiver for non STHs is b******s but I don't begrudge them it.
£25 to see this though? **** that.

Must admit I'm a bit disappointed and surprised. As a season ticket holder I'm delighted but when we are looking to win back the casual fan and some disgruntled ex season ticket holders then I can't help but think it's going to push them away. I can understand the club trying to exploit the situation but I just wonder if it's very short sighted.
Also we have has 48 hours of people saying that the gloryhunters need to get to more games, well charging £25 will hardly have them rushing to go to the Pompey game

I am very pleased they have dropped it to three.
I do think spreading them out further would help.
3 to 10 is a massive jump.
But it is all in the right direction, shows they are listening, and proves the value of the loyalty points system.

£25 for non – STH is absolute b0ll0x. And I speak as a STH. They can stick up their @rse. I’ll watch it on telly. Thats your choice ....... no matter what the club do they get flack. 1) if someone wants to bump up there points get the flexi 5 , commit to the games. 2)theres also now the renewed STH option, which we may go for, when the season tickets came out we didnt renew because of job closure and not knowing if i could get time of in a new one, we did however commit to the flexi ticket allowing us the choice of games i may be able to attend . 3) now though iin my new job i will get weekends off so making the renewed STH a option. 4) as for the cost of £25 , its a one off game that the club need to make the most of, the previous games went for good discounted prices so savings made then. If this was an away match im sure we would be paying a damn site more than £25. But as you said so eloquently , it wont matter . enjoy the sky coverage.

Disappointed with the £25 price tag. Unnecessary.

A little surprised that loyalty points from only this season are counting - your loyalty as a fan doesn't change from one season to the next.
Saying that I appreciate this is all very difficult logistically to organise and you'll never please everyone.
I fully expect that everyone who wants a ticket will get one.
I don't however agree with the price for non season ticket holders, maybe a discount for STH and normal match day prices for everyone else would be a little more acceptable - but £25 to watch a 4th division team (whoever they are playing) IMO is too expensive.
