Is there going to be any tickets left for the B&A block after today? I keep reading posts about people buying 20-30 at a time!! As a Priority Card holder I guess I have to wait for the Friday to buy me tickets, this is correct yeah? I've not bought me credit card in to get things sorted as I can't get me tickets until the Friday...tad worried I'm going to miss out on block 31...
If anyone can sort me out for five tickets for the B&A block it would be much appreciated!! Ta...

Nevermind our kid... You'll get a decent view where ever you get yer ticket for, it's a decent ground is the Britt...although I don't fancy being in the Boothen to be honest, fancy the Sentinel meself...

It seems a bit short sighted to make the B+A block the "best seats in the house" as its quite obvious they would sell out first to anyone who went down not just B+A users. Selecting a block that would be less in demand may have led to more of the B+A regulars getting to sit together and making a bit of an atmosphere. Was it presumed everyone who used this site has a season ticket?

Whitters asked me last night to choose a block that we would like for B&A.
I chose block 31 - if anyone wants to moan direct it at me.
I thought they looked the best seats in the house hence the reason we went for them. How many people would be dissapointed if we'd got somewhere behind the goal? I'm sure some would have done.
There were around 1,500 people viewing B&A yesterday, many people will have got seats for friends and family, I guess it was inevitable the area would sell out.

I'm not moaning ant I'm just saying people should have expected it. I knew as soon as someone mentioned them being the best seats that there was no way I would get in block 31. Overall I think this has been organised well.....not a moan just an observation.

Yes it was Ant, but still there will be a number of B&A users in the same place to start off the songs etc. Well done to you/STFC for sorting this. As I've said before, I cannot imagine many (if any) clubs putting in that kind of effort to help their fans. I've seen a sea change at STFC over the last year or so on many different issues. Whilst there is a long way to go still, it's brilliant that we're making progress.

what sort of atmosphere is the B+A block going to produce? How many people have bought tickets for family and friends - people who have not been to the Meadow in years?
If what stuttgartershrew says is right and people are buying 20/30 at a time then i'd be a little surprised if they were all for season ticket holders. There should have been some sort of limit in place for initial sales to prevent mass buying and the make sure that priority card holders etc have some sort of chance at getting decent seats.

How is the process working here? Am I right in saying that as a priority card holder, I can't buy any tickets, but a season-ticket holder can buy up 25 decent seats for his card-less mates? Again, not a complaint(I know we want to sell as many as possible), just trying to work out how things are working and where I'll be sat.

I won't worry about it lads and lasses...it's a decent ground is the Britt and your gonna get a decent view whatever... ...and if we can't drum up a decent atmos for this game there is sommat wrong!! ;D

I agree that there should have been limits. As a student who lives away from town getting a season ticket is not worth my while as I cannot get to every game. I did however invest in a priority card on the understanding that I would get next pick on tickets for big games. This worked well for the games against Everton and Chelsea and the all ticket games this year where there were limits put on the amounts you could buy. However if come Friday I cannot get seats in some of the better areas around regulars who can create an atmosphere it seems to me the idea of a priority card has failed just at the time when priority card holders need it most! I shall wait and see.

For a game like this, with 12,000+ tickets, is it really necessary to discern between season ticket/ super blues and priority card holders, given that all have made a commitment at the start of the season and that there all more than enough tickets to cover both groups? Just a thought, all seems to be going ok at the mo

To be fair our kid you have a point there...club are buggered whatever they do I guess...but it's defo gonna happen that someone (who wouldn't know a Town player if they happened to shat in their lap) are going to get better seats sorted through a season ticket holder, while a Town fan who has a Priority Card may be pushed to the sides... ...thinking about that’s s**te int it...but what ya gonna do eh?

Yep,
but to put it another way.
You could have got a ticket in block 31 at the very front row - or you could buy one and be at the top of another block - which would have the best view?

For me its not about block 31, its about a decent seat nearish the halfway line. I had a s**t seat at Wembley and it ruined the game for me (though I know the stadium at Stoke is a lot more modern and presumably better planned).

Well that's one way of looking at it Ant but my concern is whether I am in the Boothen End or the Sentinel Stand...cos I'm going to be a tad miffed if I'm behind the goal cos the Sentinel is full of season ticket holders and there chums who haven't seen a game since Wembley, know what I mean our kid? The more I think about it, it's not too good allowing unlimited seats to be bought...
Can I pick up my 15 quid in Stoke? ;D

Nice idea ant but for me this idea has become pretty annoying - I know for a fact that most people in that block will have been to know where near as many games as me, and just cos they happen to know some one with a season ticket they get to be rewared with seats that I thought had been put aside for members and users of a message board of 500+ members - i even went and got a priority card - i bet most of these people dont have them either Im just unhappy that I cant spend the game with the people I see every week because of the bandwagon jumpers

Also got to bear in mind, though, that without bandwagon jumpers, we'd have an embarrassing crowd of 4,000.

Im not saying they should not be there - just thay should not be there in the best seats - i wonder how many were at Margate. But then there was me thinking these bangwagon jumpers were going to get there tixs on Saturday - seems not with the unlimited tix rule!!!
Call me bitter!!!!

just to allay your fears a little, there really isn't a bad seat anywhere in the stadium...the only place I'd try to avoid is front 12 rows of the Boothen...there certainly isn't an issue with s**te views a la Wembley.

It would be more than 4,000.
Okay our average home attendance is 4,000 but have a think about it.
4,000 people don't go to EVERY home game. How many do, or go to virtually every home game, I don't know, but it's certainly unlikely to be a majority.
Say 2,000 of that 4,000 are people who go to half the home games this season - that means 4,000 in total who go to half the home games a season, if that makes sense.
This is a big, big game, which all Salop fans want to see. Just read the messages from people here who, for whatever reason, can't make games most of the season but of course they'll want to see this game, it's huge!
Of course there will be 'hangers on' but they'll be a heck of a lot more than 4,000 people from Salop there who consider themselves STFC through and through, and quite rightfully so too.

Point taken, but the fact remains that the club needs to make things as easy as possible for someone who has never been to a game befoe to get to this one. If say 6,000 come who have been to under 5 games before, and we win a thriller 3-2, that could be 500 new regulars next season. You never know.

What you are saying is if I want to sit with my wife at the game I can't go in the B&A block. The reason for this is she is a Priority Card holder but isn't a B&A User. Think I have done a little bit towards the B&A community this season. I am sure you will have been to more games than me this season but we then get onto the who deserves it most conversation. I am 99.9% certain I will have travelled more miles watching the Town this season than you. Think it is a great idea, put together in a short time. If we were in a similiar position in years to come I hope there would be a B&a Block again. Yes, lessons have been learnt from today but for me it is to Judy, Ian, Ant and all the others who have worked hard to make this happen.

I am 99.9% certain I will have travelled more miles watching the Town this season than you. Why so - i traveld 300o miles to see Town this season for one game!!!! Point is Martin B you are buying 2 tickets - fair enough and have been part of the B and A community for some time the people im talking about proabley have never herd of b and A and have been sold 10 odd tickes for there mates. How many people in the B and A section went to the bowling night i wonder, or the Quiz or have played for B and A. I give up caring about this now I will go with my mates and stop moaning now just seems like it was a good idea for anyone with a season ticket holder but for the rest of us point less as i bet there all gone by Friday

I admit Pricey, I'm one of the guilty ones. My dad does read the board but doesnt post, however we got a ticket for a 12 yearold lad who goes to a lot of the away games, but not many home. Because he is with us he is in the b+a block. I'm sorry if you dont get a ticket in the b+a block but rest assured I didnt get 10 tickets for my chums, altho the though had crossed my mind
