i'm in very much the same situation as pricey, would like to be in block 31 am a priority card holder and don't have a chance of being in there, but that's the way it goes...
maybe those of us who aint got in block 31 could stick together in a block of our own, bit of help needed from whiiters here maybe, if we went down on friday and asked to be in block 30 or 32, would this be able to be sorted for us, or will we get tickets, in the place where sellers have sold upto?

They seem to be keeping Block 30 back, but after that just move down from there, 29,28 etc look ok.
I bought 6 tickets at 10 this morning and got them in 29, because the others don't use B&A

Going to travel on one of Chris Smith's coaches, and when you ring up to bok a seat they include your ticket then, I understand. however, I'm also told these can't be booked til Friday so am waiting til then to ring up.
Can anyone tell me if when i ring up to book the coach i can decide where i want to sit? If so I'm not sure where to sit now, mayeb behind the goal but as others have said its not a good spec, why is that?

Why so - i traveld 300o miles to see Town this season for one game!!!! If you include your 3000 mile trip if you live within 15 miles of Shrewsbury you will have to have been to every match this season to beat my mileage. I happen to do 400 miles per home game My average journey per match home and away is 300 miles Not that I'm getting into a p!$$ing contest.

I am not a regular poster but read this board most days. We went to the Meadow today to buy a block of around 20 tickets for regular home & away supporters plus one spouse. (Most go to all home & away, I travel as often as work lets me).
Chris Jarrett said the only way we could buy that quantity of tickets together was by going in the B + A section, so that's what we have done.
Please don't have a go at people when the club are doing this. They said that they were supposed to be selling the Boothen End tickets first because that is what they had been told to do! (Don't know who told them to do that).

Can anyone say why the boothen is supposedly a worse place to sit than the Sentinel?

The lower rows of seats will be obscured by the goal and players, unlike the Meadow where you're at head height. I'm assuming this is what they're on about anyway.

Sorry Glyn, we had no divine right to that area, the only way to secure seats is to wave the money in their faces when you ask. Is confusing why they wouldn't allow a block booking outside block 31 though. The main aim of this initiative by Ant and co. was more to give us a focal point to aim for than to say "Don't worry lads! We'll sit you all together, guaranteed!" Only way to get ahead is to get a Season Ticket or Card/club membership (or kiss the feet of one of the above! ) . And even then you can't guarantee where you'll end up!

Yeah i suppose your right but it is galling in a way to think that people who probable dont know where Margate is will be in the best seat while several of us of that 100 odd that day will be shuted down away from the action (well i hope not) but i have no faith that the part timers im likely to be with will make any noise out side of the hooters and i will get funny looks for acting all bothered about the result!!!! I sware as i said if when my mates mum goes down tomora to get tickets, and the club think they have there act together and try and sell tickets behind the goal to her i will be very angry For tonight i leave it
