So being incompetance is an excuse in your job. Does your boss get the blame if you mess up in your job? You seriously couldn't have thought about that post before you pressed send.

If a manager in any business asks a junior staff member to do a more senior role, because he hasn't employed a suitable person to fill that role, then yes, when the junior member f*cks up, it is indeed the fault of the manager. By the way, it's 'incompetent', not 'incompetance' that you're looking for. Was that an ironic error? Sorry its just something I am not friendly with Tom Bradshaw is under a Senior Contract NO? So a Junior contract does not apply BOOM

could town nick a win against swindle on saturday. 3 points would do wonders for morale in the dressing room, managers office and both chairs in the boardroom. sorry to have been so pessimistic, but it is so frustrating when we start the season with a woodbine packet half full. I wish I could share JT's confidence that all will be right at the end of the month. if JT is right I will buy him a pint of big nevs next time I am in the Caastle!
my Packard bell keyboard is suffering from premature evacuation and this is responsible for AJ's despondency.
now what is this thread about. ah yes, tom bradshaw, town's whipping boy. I suspect the lad will do on Saturday what he is paid to do.
Floreat Salopia, Floreat Tom Bradshaw. Amwythig am byth! Breath on 'em town.!
RIP Packard Bell, good riddance.

Or is he asking too much of him? What would you think, based on last season's performances? ...err. BOO YAKASHA?

If its a work in progress then he's working backwards. You think he'd be anywhere near the team I'd we have a few half decent strikers?

30 games without a goal now for Bradders...
Last time he scored was Tuesday 25th Oct 2011 vs Accrington in League 2 (his only goal of that entire season) not one at all last season and three games more to the drought this season
I'm not sure what there is to defend at all.. if that was anyone else but little Tom, we would be going mental...
Well some of us are, but you know what I mean.

I think Exkeeper may well be right. If Burke and Asante are fit - Tom will be on the bench.

get off the lad's back and quit using him as an excuse for town's poor start. there are 10 other players, 5 on the bench, a toilet brush and the coal scuttle! have a go at them. or GT.
Floreat Salopia!

I was surprised as anyone when TB was kept on this season. But whichever way you put it, beating him up for the fact that he has been kept on, and is currently being relied upon to perform beyond his current capabilities is unproductive. He's doing his best I'm sure, and if it's not good enough then surely your annoyance should be directed at the decision makers, rather than ripping the lad apart. That was my previous point, not a defence of TB's performances or potential.

Of course I celebrated it. As I stressed I don't have a personal vendetta against him, I just wasn't happy much like most of our other fans. You act like I just want him to fail. I'm pleased for him today with his goal and he needs to knuckle down now and get some more. One goal doesn't remove my doubts but it encourages it, helps goal difference and 2-0 was well deserved.

As GT said, an ideal situation to come on with the defence tired. Let's hope we don't have to wait 2 years for another goal. I must admit I could not understand why he came on in preference to Burke.

Well done on another nice finish today Tom. Bradshaw, Taylor, wilding,Woods, Goldson all very effective today and we potentially have a bright future if we could just add a dash of quality and experience. Revel for Rotherham was a handful and just the type of player that could take us to the next level.

I just wish we would play balls to him that he has half a chance of getting either a decent diagonal ball behind the defence, a ball to feet or a ball to chest and he can work his magic but most of the time he is getting high looping balls that he has to fight for against someone stronger and bigger.
