For me, the best was that game at Stoke in the play off final. Great day out, and when Challis put that ball in the net.. well, it was just a great moment.
Worst would probably be when we lost to Hereford at home in their promotion season, was such a horrible thing to look at when their fans were jumping up and down.
What's everyone else's?

some random choices from memory
Best (no particular order) :)4-1 v Hereford conf season, fantastic performance/game on the day we won the rugby world cup :)0-2 v Liverpool Bob Wardle testimonial, great to see the liverpool stars versus the town :)Beating aldershot at stoke, terrible journey there considering its 40 miles odd but the result was worth it!
Worst (no particular order) >:(Losing to Telford in the conf season, thankfully they went bust soon after >:(wembley 2009, so much worse than 2007 somehow, gills fans were foul and had none of the class the bristolians had in 07. >:(wembley 1996, damn rotherham, jemson and the chuckle brothers!

Best exp: Beating Marine 11-2 in the FA Cup. Watching my other team Arsenal play at the Gay Meadow back in 91'in the FA cup.
worse exp: My two visits to the Vetch, both games we lost and atmosphere was not very nice thankfully we wont play them for quite awhile !
Any game the town lose, especially if its to local rivals

last game of the season a year or so back at Daggers, win to get into the play offs:
Some Town "fans" calling my girlfriend a paki as she went to the toilet during half time...

Worst was going to Margate on a terrible Sunday to see Margate v Town in the Conference at Dover Athletic's Crabble Athletic Ground
Best was when the team went into the directors box after beating Exeter in 1979 and celebrated to the crowd

There are a few contenders for the best for me: Barnet in the play offs, play off final, 7-0 Gillingham, Bury in the play offs. The whole Conference season was pretty special, mainly cos it was the only season when I had the time and opportunity to follow Town home and away, not missing a game, with great mates.
Losing both Wembley play-off finals was obviously awful, but the days spent getting there on minibuses meant that the actual time spent on the day was still fun. For me the worst times of being a Town fan have been the endless, nameless nothing losses and draws against nothing teams when players have shown no passion and a general laziness. The games in the relegation season and last season seem to sum this up the most, I can't pick one in particular.

Good Ipswich at home 1981 in the f.a. cup, won 2-1 promotion in 94 Daggers the season before last Everton win at home, f.a. cup 7-0 against gillingham
bad the whole conference season from the moment we were relegated, a season of embarresment imo gillingham at wembley and being so wrapped up in my own sorrow that i didnt notice my lad in tears next to me. league 2 play-off against bristol rovers, ended up lieing in bed with double toothache and 80 quids worth of tickets unused, listening to us loose 88/9 and relegation from division 2

Best - A tricky choice but overall probably the Everton FA Cup game, I woke up on the morning of that game feeling that we could do something special and it was just a game where everything worked out for us, not only did we beat a big Premier League side, but we were worthy winners as well, just a shame that most of that side started to believe their own hype after that game and thought only minimal effort was required to beat the likes of Southend and Carlisle afterwards....... Worst - Quite a few contenders for this one as well but the 6-0 defeat at Boston (only a couple of weeks before the Everton game ironically enough!) was a real sickener, and the journey home in the dark December gloom was just horrendous, the following morning I remember queueing for Everton tickets with the general conversation amongst people that was if Boston could put six past us, what on earth was Everton going to do to us?

Away leg at Bury in the play off game- every single component of what goes into making a special game of football. Superb.
Histon away in the FA Cup. Enough said.

Promotion in '94 was great. Loved that season as we went about it playing the type of football I enjoy watching. Aldershot play off wasn't something I really enjoyed, just relief of getting back up first time knowing that it could have been a future of getting dicked at Forest Green or Eastbourne. Everton in the Cup was great. As was beating Fulham and then Wimbledon. Ok we lost to Arsenal but the night itself is something I remember with fondness. Exeter 'Great Escape' was a good day out too, have fond memories of that day too. Bad…well considering I’ve been over here in Germany for the past ten years I’ve had some rotten luck with the (few) games I’ve attended. Was at Boston when we got thrashed, was at D&R when we got thrashed, was at Histon in the Cup and then of course there was the two Wembley disappointments. Moreso the last visit, that hurt that… Great being a Town fan...

Worst: Play off final, Gillingham Cambridge away can't remember when, but it was a dire match they had 1 shot, scored we were no where near having a shot.

Worst Play off final 09 and the lovely Gills 'fans' outside Every defeat after the Everton game in the relegation season

Best - large parts of that cup run in 78/9. it just seemed to go on and on and get better and better, Cambridge, Man City, Wolves (anything seemed possible). My personal favourite though was Aldershot replay victory (one those great night matches at the meadow). In recent years, the play off semi's victories at Bury and MK Dons were excellent largely because they were unexpected and against the odds.
Worst - far too many. Staines last year was a particular downer - Never seen a town team that cared less about a game.
mentioned this on another thread a few months back - getting the train back to Crewe with a train full of PNE fans high on various substances and intent on violence, after they relegated us in 97 - seriously scary experience

Best - Darren Moss scoring the winning penalty to beat Barnet at home to reach the conference playoff final, followed by a delirious pitch invasion. - Beating the Daggers 2-1 away to seal a place in the playoffs in 2009. - Winning against Aldershot at the Brittania. - Beating Everton at home with Jemmo's last minute header. Worst - Losing 5-0 away to Dagenham at new year in the conference season. - Carlisle relegating us to the conference. - Ben Davies diving at Chester in the last minute to get them a penalty. Scott Howie saved it fair and square, but it was re-taken and we lost 2-1. Complete deflation. - Losing at Wembley to Gillingham in the last minute.

Worst- Dagenham away last season. Lucky enough never to have seen them lose by so many in 50 years watching. Most soul destroying-FA Cup away at Ipswich in 1967. All that way to see them tonked 4-1. Pre-motorway days-Left Prees on the bus at 6.00 am returning something like 24 hours later (admittedly we stopped at a few hostelries on the return leg).
Best-Always thought the Leicester away quarter final was the most eventful game I had ever seen even though we lost. Since superceded by the Bury play-off second leg. Superb atmosphere and of course the right result.

Best: Agree with the more obvious ones (Everton, Aldershot etc) but also
Beating Middlesborough 2-1 at home in 85/86 to stay up - the ultimate 6 pointer... Barnet play-off win - great reaction from Barnet fans to top off a great day (in contrast to the Boro fans above) Mickey Brown's volley vs Southampton in the league cup
Worst: Steve Kerrigans last minute winner for Halifax in the great escape season - thought we were gonners walking out of The Shay... Losing to Rotherham at Wembley - huge let down Cambridge 5-0 Shrewsbury - the most miserable lack of effort I've ever seen by a Town side. Ripped apart by Omar Riza - says it all!

Just typed a long reply to this on my iphone, but the phone rang and I lost it all . Well, here's the short version: In no particular order. Best - Bobby's "Escape to Victory" Ipswich 2-1, Away @ Brum 2-0 to stay up, Petts hatrick v Leeds, on the pitch after Wigan '94, Stoke play-off (via Radio Salop to Japan, laid-up with bad back). Worst - Relegation from Div 2 (you just knew it was the end of the golden era), Robbie Turner v Northampton (ecstacy to the deepest depths in 45 minutes), the last minute Gillingham play-off goal, Wembley v Rotherham.
