Oh dear...
Now all this bon homie has broken out I can see that no sooner do I get my pint off faginy (by all accounts a rare event) ... then I'm going to have to share it with Mr Rogerson.
(Still, I think I should have the top half, after all I am the frothy PR man).

The photo is from the Shropshire Star of 17 May last year, and on the full photo I can see the person holding the monkey, so I suppose that is you.

be intriguing to meet for a pint, interested in what you have to say. As I said in another post on this thread, before a match is more possible than afterwards due to rushing for train. But yes, I can see us all in some local pub before we stuff Kidderminster a week on Saturday.

Well Steve has certainly stirred up The Clique and showed them up for what they are. Mattsnapper2 makes some very good points. shrewsTRUST, very close. shrewsCLIQUE is far more accurate and apt.

Don't you spell clique as "Cliché"?

Post by harmerhillshrew on Feb 7, 2005 21:57:25 GMT 1
Cliche is 'Its a game of two halves Brian' or 'Im sick as a parrot Motty'
Clique is a closed group of people, opposite of shrewsTrust.

Hey. We all know it can't possibly be a clique because right at the start of this thread we established beyond doubt that they are all far too incompetent to organise anything half so clever as that.
Mind you it would explain the - allegedly - dodgy leaflet wouldn't it. A deliberate attempt to discourage interest.
In fact hang on... all the press coverage, the colour leaflet, standing in the rain to give it out, booking the hotel meeting room, sorting out the speakers... yep you're right it's all about trying to deter as many people as possible from going and keep it to a nice cosy group isn't it.
"Crikey" Anti-Clique you're a genius. No fooling you is there. Now about your views on UFOs and the Kennedy assassination...

Don't pick on him and don't ask him anything difficult.
His brain is so clearly not up to much. But he does try. Bless him.

The anti-clique is a wind up, it's quite clear. It could even be Whitters as he always goes on about how easily we're all wound up
