What I don't get is how some so called town fans can slag off every single action that comes out of our club whilst laughing out loud
I often get told I'm boring , out of order , over the top , if I slag off a certain premier league side that I have a genuine hate for
Its bizarre

Perhaps something like this: Roland - "Things aren't great at the moment are they, I think I should put out a message to the fans" STFC Board/Staff - "Good idea, we need to communicate with them" Roland - "I'll remind them that when I took over were skint, we now own a training ground & stadium, had some good cup runs and once were a model of how to run a football club properly" STFC Board/Staff - "Em...... ok.......perhaps give them something a bit more current. I think fans are concerned about this takeover stuff and now we also need to get a new manager" Roland - "You can mention I was happy to resign but the club are screwed without me" STFC Board/Staff - "Ok will do, I hate to bring it up again but I suspect they will want to know about the position of the takeover" Roland - "Ok if you insist, throw in a one liner about the sale and say things are at an advanced stage" STFC Board/Staff - "Perfect" |

Our chairman doesn't talk to us directly much does he. I sponsored matches for about 20 years and he didn't come to thank us once.
I've only seen his once to ask questions. It was when we were moving to the new ground. He'd just won permission for it. I asked him a question and he answered it in a very eloquount manner. Someone ask what I thought was a pretty innocuous question about the toilets on the Riverside. He blew up big time about the toilets. I was so startlled nearly s**t myself.

I read an article the other week about this bergkamp consortium who’s trying to buy a league one club. He went into detail who was involved and it was him dirk kuyt,Ronald Koeman and Henrik Larsson. It also stated that henrik would come in as head coach.
So if we put two and two together, this consortium is close and he too will be the manager.
