A tough game at home but if we won't to make progress in our bottom mini league. We need to get a point just to keep some momentum after our goal Fest. It will be interesting wh what lineup and formation Hurst will go with.

It has to be 2 up front, just has to be.
I know Exeter will be a different proposition to Crawley but our defence has so many mistakes in it that we need to be scoring goals. 1 up front just doesn't give us an attacking threat.
Plus if I'd scored 2 goals in the last game I'd be pretty Pd off to be benched for the next one.

Same formation, same lineup. Do we have Pierre and Hoole back?

Same formation, same lineup. Do we have Pierre and Hoole back? If we do it won’t be the same line up as you’ve recommended 😉 Most seems to want TOR back in the starting 11 but guess Lloyd and Marquis are nailed on

Same formation, same lineup. Do we have Pierre and Hoole back? Touch and go. Not sure id chuck them into the XI. Pierre played in Curacao last night and Hoole plays in Slovakia this evening

And the team that got the win last Saturday deserve to start.

How much £££ do we get from Sky/EFL for having this match moved to a Thursday night?

How much £££ do we get from Sky/EFL for having this match moved to a Thursday night? Not enough (especially if you are a travelling Exeter fan).

This is what I was thinking about, if it had been on a Saturday how many would of traveled compared to this Thursday; especially as their knocking on the door of the Play Offs. OK if its say £35k you'd of thought it would of covered the difference?

Not sure if we are paid per re-arranged game or at start of season. I read Plymouth received an extra £2.5m and Gillingham received £300k at the start of the season for the new rights deal. So i expect we will have been paid a lump sum somewhere in the middle of those payments being a L1 club. The rights deal runs for 5 years, so expect the same lump sum each year. I would have a guess at about £800k for a L1 club? Which would negate the loss of gate income.
I feel for the Exeter fans! I hope their club gives them free drinks vouchers or something for making that trip on a Thurs.

I think Exeter also play a 3-5-2
More than enough quality to match them man for man.

We are getting their ticket money at least ! I understand that they had sold 210 tickets as of this morning whereas probably nearer 750 on a Saturday .

How much £££ do we get from Sky/EFL for having this match moved to a Thursday night? I think its about £1.3m a season for league 1 clubs there is a facility fee for each game but no idea how much that is , id say £10k at a wild guess, maybe the club might state how much it is, its not top secret, just hadn't been agreed when the details came out the headline was all clubs are now getting more money the truth is the gap between the divisions also got much wider, we no longer bring in ifollow revenue at least from uk based viewers, we get lots of games moved at inconvenience to fans , Thursdays game is a prime example, and I can only see it pulling fans away from the terraces and in front of the tv

Sadly all true. Devalues the season ticket too perhaps, because i doubt many would have forseen having to swap to a thurs nevermind the other date changes previous and to come.

John Rushworth and Mike Jones by any chance? The late John Rusbridge, and Mick Jones were indeed two of them, plus Bob Wilson, the late Paul Gibbons, and John Jenner.

Rumoured that we received 80% of subscription but just how many used to watch that rather than attend games? Bigger clubs will have lost a lot more so do they get a bigger cut of the Sky money? Where as we might get 10s to low 100s of hits a game Bolton or Birmingham could have got 1000s……wonder if Sky produce viewing figures for each match shown?

They brought quite a few last season on a Tuesday night.
I guess we haven’t played them at home on a Thursday since the great night in 1979 when we won the Div 3 Championship- the greatest day in our history. Same score please!
