Times like this - crashing out of the tournament with a game to spare whilst being humbled on our own turf, make me delighted that I disowned this tournament and subsequently don’t feel the pain, disappointment or anger. Having a lovely football free evening. Top quality Darts on whilst sat in the warm - just call me an anti town fan now!

3 - 0 down in a nothing comp and the effort and desire is still at a good level. Good to see.

We have conceded some awful goals this season and that is up there.

Think we can put to bed the idea of Taylor perry being anywhere near a league 1 footballer.

I get the point this is a nothing competition and not a priority for us, but very hard to see any positives from tonight’s game. Some really disappointing performances from some players tonight. First sign of they not looking that bothered about the display they are putting on

Picking up unnecessary yellow cards too although I assume they don't count towards the league?

Perhaps Bristol Street Motors can provide a taxi for our defence. Go EV and give them a 400 Volt jolt.

Think we can put to bed the idea of Taylor perry being anywhere near a league 1 footballer. Odd comment. Poor touch leading to the goal, other than that he has been as good as anyone else.

At least try and be funny with it I mean ,never thought I'd say this but I'm impressed with the support in block 19 tonight 🤩 Tonight was just another typical town away game 🙄

Oh well, plenty of positives to take from the game despite the scoreline and result. Onto the next!
I like Bloxham up top!

Love or hate the competition, I, for one never like to see us lose, especially when we are well and truly turned over.
Just Walsall left to play and that's the end of our involvement for another season.
Hopefully we've picked up no injuries ahead of Saturday.

Meanwhile Saturdays opposition Crawley come back from 3.0 down to be drawing 3.3 with Wimbledon which will do their confidence no harm

Satday.....well if we defend like we did tonight,no marking up,no desire,no tackles, standing off there wingers.... we're gonna lose satday....that's a given.....sorry can't help the negativity, but after watching that defence tonight,I give us no hope

That could have been a lot worse. Don’t think anyone was stand out poor tonight; they are just a much better team. We had chances. That was like a friendly in atmosphere and I think both teams played it in that manner.
Still too wasteful from throw-ins and free kicks - that one from Winchester took the prize obviously, but the consistency in unnecessarily giving away possession from set plays is really causing us problems.

I think the only positive for me was this is a timely wake up call after Saturdays excellent point, last thing we needed was us relaxing thinking we might be over the worst , I thought we deserved a goal tonight, and did score but for too eager officiating, shame as it would was a good time to score too just before half time , our problem tonight was the quality did us, there were are tracking back like sheep without one player having the task of looking for late runners , and brum twice put it on a plate for such players, and our quality again lets us down, tom for me is like Forrest Gump , either put the ball in his path and tell him to run or just dont give it him at all, oh and after some of us suggesting 3/5 at the back was the solution and working on saturday, we go for 4 again tonight , so 5 saturday please hurty or 3 depending how you look at it castledaine man of the match for me and it wasnt his best game by a long way

I'm not worried about the young loan lads, they're ok,and will learn.... I'm worried about the likes especially of Winchester and gillead, and Perry.... Winchester was ****ing dire, standing off his winger, not marking tight enough, and he took one free kick tonight in 2nd half deep in his own half, straight across the middle of the pitch, and straight to a Brum player, and if anybody tells me anything different, they're watching the wrong game....he needs to step up and fast🤦🤦

I am afraid that with our limited Skill levels, playing out from the back and to the keeper, is suicidal. Time to revert to the tried and tested methods of the past - clear your lines then play your football in your opponents half. I must agree about TP and that is not just based on tonight.

At times O'Reilly Castledine and Sagoe Jnr were linking up well and trying to out Flank Birmingham even when 0-4 down.
Then when Sagoe played off to Benning down the left Benning smashed the ball backwards for Birmingham to counter attack.
Credit to the 3 youngsters they didn't stop trying. The rest Savin and possibly Morgan Feeney are beyond poor.
