Birmingham are clearly a championship team in all but league, but this is still terrible terrible defending, basically just handing this on a plate. Was planning on making the league game but now having second thoughts about spending the £100+ it'll cost and I'll go watch my son's match instead.

Marquis seems to be doing his best to amble around and hide behind defenders - offering absolutely nothing both in terms of quality and effort. The offside just about sums up his half. |

We have played alright, some tidy play and a few half chances. Brum are just that good.
1st goal was just bizzare. Ball spun away from Winchester onto the post for an easy finish
2nd goal was just quality
3rd goal was terrible defending after poor passing around the back.
This game is a perfect example of how important confidence is in football.

Our defence don't mark players, either in the box,or out on the wings,and was exactly the same against Bolton in cup...Brum are decent,but c'mon, we're simply not bothered,and you can tell in the players body language... it's embarrassing....the only player with any credit is sagoe jnr..done well,with no help at all

He doesn't really fit the mould of the lone striker who harries and occupies defenders in a 4231. Saw more quality and effort from Stefan Payne in this sort of system. Looks like Kayode has usurped Kieran Phillips to the complete waste of money fully crocked loan title. |

They haven't got out of second gear and have cut us open at will, especially down our left. |

I thought he was a much better player than this, he really has been a disappointment so far this season. |

We are just not strong enough or sharp enough to cope with their pressing. Tom and Leo look the strongest for us but we are still way off the pace of the game.
Sagoe looks frustrated every time he starts a run and seems to lose possession or go down too easily.
Marquis is nowhere to be seen, we did have the one chance and the disallowed goal both came from dare I say, a slightly faster press.
I have watched what they do after passing the ball and it’s all effort to get forward where as we pass, think and jog.
Going to be a tough second half

Times like this - crashing out of the tournament with a game to spare whilst being humbled on our own turf, make me delighted that I disowned this tournament and subsequently don’t feel the pain, disappointment or anger.
Having a lovely football free evening.

We look more threatening with the 4 youngsters upfront. Nsiala doing OK second half too. I wish our defence would playing back passes to Savin when it's not necessary.
