3rd year running we entertain derby, this one a friendly
last 2 seasons it was in the league
the first ended 0-0 and It was my most entertaining game of the seasons, they literally battered us but we got in the way of everything and held on for a vallant 0-0 draw
last year we went a step better and won, should have be 1 up at the break but we wasted a penalty ? Bayliss if I remember right blasted over and well over at that ?
we won albeit an own goal but fully deserved
both seasons we stole a late point away from home too
last time I remember us playing derby in a friendly was back when we were in the conference, and we put on a 5-0 win, im sure Colin cramp managed a hat trick, it was all down hill for then. lol

Town has become somewhat of a boggy side of late for Derby.
The Bench is starting to get populated now so looking forward to seeing a few chances.

Any news on Savin yet? Presume more triallist keepers today.
Hope to see Marquis start today, and possibly bit of Kayode too, but judging from other signings and playing the next pre season game, probably won't see him
Otherwise it's just more minutes for fitness and getting used to playing with each other

More positive signs in terms of looking to keep the ball on the floor.
Rossiter looking tidy doing the simple things well. One of those players who’d normally be well out of our reach - if it wasn’t for his awful injuries he’s had.
He was very highly rated a few years back

Good half so far we look more quick going forward and one of the first games in a long long time we have midfielders in space and have some time on the ball good signs so far
