I’ve got a very good life actually .🤪 ”I’ve heard “ certainly gets your interest , perhaps someone is in the know . Rumours are just a stab in the dark really but equally grabs one’s interest . All good stuff , part and parcel of following a football league club with very little resources - I have a dream and guess what it is 😉 I’ve head something but not telling you isn’t a rumour though it’s a game. i wasn’t suggesting you did that just I general get excited when someone posts to find it’s a secret 😂 Oh, yes , I get where your’e coming from know . Gashead here! You must think we had a decent bench last season going by your signings! I thought it might be Brian Williams . You remember him , youngest player to turn out for Bury years ago, signed for us but played for you and Bristol City I believe . |

Good grief I hope not. Five years at FGR making 32 appearances and then 1 appearance on loan at Bromley last season. Doesn't appear to be very good, although better than me! |

It wasn't him. The other trialist is a Danish lad - I got that from chatting to the guys in the press box. No-one knew his actual name and Hurst wasn't saying, but he was definitely Danish. |

Can we not get a promising up and coming goalie from the PL/championship like we did with Dean Henderson?
Surely that's not beyond our budget, limited as it is.

I had a bit of spare time and cannot find a left-footed Danish goalkeeper based in the UK. Unless he is a total unknown from Denmark itself... are we sure we have got our facts right?

That's what will likely happen in the end, just will take a few weeks to come about near the end of the deadline. In the meantime we are looking at other options just in case we find a decent alternative. |

Can’t see there being much truth in the Stephen Humphrey rumour but that would be a huge statement signing for Shrewsbury. Seems hard to believe we could finance the deal.
I did notice Hurst had him on loan at Sc***horpe in the past…
With the signing not Marquis I think this makes it look even less likely as Marquis will have been on a decent wage, probably very similar to what was budgeted for Udoh
I saw the Nathan Fraser rumours circulating again online too….

I too saw the Fraser rumour circulating as well, if the forward pick is between the Pedigree of Marquis, the work ethic of Lloyd and the Potential of Fraser then that some pretty good options for a full season.
I expect Lloyd to take Bloxham's position on the right though.

Maybe his ambition is to play every game for the club he loves rather than sit on The bench at a bigger club and pick up more money.
I won't judge any player because it's a short career and they must do what they think is right for them at the time.
Good luck to him anyway.
