Whichever league we're in, I'll trust Hurst to put it right, and at least get a fit and organised team

Relegation to League Two would be an absolute disaster, and the final nail in the coffin for most people.

Relegation to League Two would be an absolute disaster, and the final nail in the coffin for most people. It’s concerning the number of people who think relegation will be okay just because Hurst is at the wheel. We’d be even more skint than we currently are, we’d be paying the same price to watch lesser football and lower quality players, and we’d still have some of most useless ones being a drain on the resources.

The must games to win are against Vile, Exeter, Carlisle, Charlton & Wycombe. If we win those I think we’ll be ok. Easier said than done. I hadn’t realised we play so many teams down in the sticky stuff!

Many of the other MM deals, yet to kick on, but still promising. Which ones? Beat me to it. We've signed 9 permanent players this season and I'd break them down into the following: Experienced Pro's doing a steady (if not spectacular) job - Winchester, Pierre, Morgan & Benning Players who look out of their depth and likely to leave in the summer - Perry, Mata, Sobowale & Idowu Players with future potential - Sraha We were told the model would be bringing in more youthful & energetic players which will (hopefully) go on to make the club money. I know there are no guarantees but I'd say we have brought 5 players in which were intended to fit that mdoel, however none of them are regularly playing and the majority will be gone this summer. I think what sums it up for me is we've paid a transfer fee for 3 players this season......Mata, Sobowale & Idowu. Look at the contribution they've made. For a supposedly skint club, you'd think Roland may be slightly hacked off with Moore as to how he has wasted the little money available.

Relegation to League Two would be an absolute disaster, and the final nail in the coffin for most people. The thought of relegation breaks me out in a cold sweat £26 on the day to watch us play League 2 football, imagine it... gates would plummet, supporter apathy would further rise, it would represent a huge danger to the clubs future Simply cannot understand anybody who is blaze about this prospect, if we were to get relegated i would expect large scale protests at the last home game

Relegation to League Two would be an absolute disaster, and the final nail in the coffin for most people. I’ve said it before, sooner or later we will get relegated, maybe this season, maybe another 10 years, but it’s highly likely. It might allow the club to regroup and come back stronger, certainly should win more games than we currently do, struggling every season in League One. Which in turn could boost attendances. Of course, could also do a Rochdale or Scunny which is the big danger.

I've not seen anyone , have you ? hopefully we'll stay up and find resources to just stay up again next season and the year after That should see fans flocking back in their droves 🤩 I remember a season This Century, we were in serious debt , playing at a ground not fit for purpose, having gates as low as sub 2700, and about to get relegated out of the football league And yet as they say in wales We're still here

The assumption we'll come back stronger when the likes of Stockport, Wrexham, Notts County and many others are throwing silly money around is also indicative of the blase attitude of some fans.

I will be paying £26 to watch L2 football if we go down. So be it. Floreat Salopia I'm sure plenty of us will, that is without doubt. We're one of the most tolerant fanbases in the country! That said, I think an increasing portion of fans will be very loud, and very public in their anger in the direction of the owner towards the end of the season should it look likely to happen.

Many of the other MM deals, yet to kick on, but still promising. Which ones? I would have put Sobowale and Sraha if I could spell..... Let's also see what Mr Hurst can do with Kennah, Perry and Mata.
Best instant success signing on our budget so far: Benning.
Give it time.

So our best signing is a 30 year old lower league one left back, who was an emergency signing following Nurse’s acl. He’s been decent in 2024 but it’s nothing more than the minimum level we should be expecting.

Best instant signing because he has come straight in unfancied and done the job for us. To add to that, I think we can assume he's done the job at our budget level, unlike Leahy.

I don’t think either Kennah & Perry will be around next season. Kennah is a loan anyway.

Perry was deffo one of moores signings( he was at Cheltenham with him)made about 30 appearances over 2 loans periods...scored 2 goals I think, and 10 of those were as a sub.... That's poor in my opinion.... somebody correct me if I'm wrong

Of the players you've mentioned, when looking to next season I expect Sraha to be here as a young prospect & Benning to provide competition/cover for Nurse. I expect the rest of the players to be no longer at Shrewsbury Town and we will look back on this season as a failed and wasteful experiment. I know that will sound very negative but I do genuinely hope I'm wrong and that you are right that a bit of patience will see the players come good. If that happens then many of us (myself included) will owe Mickey Moore an apology and that he is a far better judge of player then we give him credit for.
