With a record of 0 goals in 24 games in League Two you have to really wonder what the future holds for him.

Michael Mellon has also been recalled by his parent club.
Morecambe will certainly miss his goals.

There we go, that's the answer from MM.
Quite underwhelming isnt it.

Maybe we will play him as a wing back?? We have played 3 up front since MT got stick at Burton for the way we went about it. I wouldn’t say it’s always a wide front 3 but despite Sobowale putting some huge work in pressing left to right and down, a lot (most) of his really good work has been out wide and he’s been given plenty of the ball out there, with Bennett busting a gut to overlap. Less so with Shipley drifting out wide but maybe that’s the game plan now. So I very much think Bloxham signals an intent to stay this way and Will get his chance to play wide.

he scored the winner away to Lincoln in fa cup, scored again in the win away to Wycombe next round, scored pre season v Blackpool ( all league 1 sides ) 3 assists in the league as mentioned playing out wide
would be nice to see him again, welcome back

I’m keen to have him back in the group and think he can make an impact, but probably from the bench.

Remember when Rodman & Whalley got double figure assists & goals from our wide of a 4-2-3-1? Oh to dream!
If Bloxham turns into a 2018/19 Rodman on the other side I'll eat my hat.

I suspected he would be recalled and that probably means we can only expect one other incoming striker in this window. Despite the lack of league goals he may well have improved his overall play and he will put in a great shift whenever used. Lets face it - the forwards we have available at present (while not denying they are doing their best) are not the strongest we have had in modern times so any positive contribution from Bloxham will be very welcome.

Agreed...it means we have failed to land at least one of our target loans...am begining to despair at our management structure....and its failure to secure fit , ready to play footballers of league one standard.

We have a very bloated backroom staff that must be costing a fortune, but it's only the 9th January.
Some realism and patience is required.

I suspect he’ll be a rotational RW-off the striker option along with Sobowale. In an ideal world we’d have someone more consistent and less raw rather than two very samey options, but I guess it’s better than just having Sobowale for that position.

Who would you put in team first.... sobowale or bloxham??? All day long based on performances I’ve seen from both of them it’s Sobowale, if Bloxham has improved and can display the same energy and tenacity as Sobowale then game on

It'll be nice to just have an attacking option on the bench other than Mata

If he plays he needs to be centre forward.....the boy is 6ft 4......a winger he is not..... he's to slow for a start.get him on the training ground, and practice holding the ball up.and getting in the right positions in the penalty area
