The decision on Everton's appeal needs to be made asap. It's increasingly unfair to everyone with every passing round of matches.
I also don't think a club should suffer two points deductions for the same offence in one season. The profit and sustainability penalty is based on a rolling average loss over a three year period. Everton suffered a points deduction in 2023/24 for losses over the three seasons ended 2021/22. If they (and Forest) are deducted points for the following period (ie ended 2022/23), those deductions should be deferred until the following season (2024/25).

I did hear that there are a total of 40,000 pages been written up relating to this one original charge against Everton , god knows how many there will be in the Man City 100+ charges

I think the bottom line is Everton have broken rules and need to be punished The problem is we have others that broke rules and got away with it , this needs to change do I hope they stand strong here and stick with the ruling However I predict it will get reduced to 6 I wrote it 🤩

It needs sorting in advance of the season and needs to be based on fact & figure, no interpretation.
- Sorted by July 31st for upcoming season
- Up to £25m over = 5 points - Up to £50m over = 10 points - Over £50m over = 15 points
The levels of losses need increasing, they were put in place a decade ago.
Simple; you'd think.

Didn't see Klopps reaction to it, no doubt there wasn't one His next rant should be opposed by the question on the incident above, bet he smiles says nothing and walks off.

Well no there was nothing wrong with the goal it was a very good header, it was the pre-cursor to that, so as I thought Klopp never even discussed the " decision"

Blatant dive by Kai Havertz, avoids a second yellow card and goes on to score the winner. Miscarriage of justice.

As this thread is entitled Everton & other topical banter, I though this worth a mention.
Former Everton star Jimmy Husband died on March 9th aged 76. Played for Everton from 1964 until 1973.

Liverpool were robbed yesterday, cracking game though. Villa messed up big time. A wonderful game, helped by the contrasting styles of the teams. Haarland is the new Kane, ineffective in big games.

Haaland ineffective against the big team? Just a reminder the nearest person to him since his arrival is 30+ goals behind, and he's scored past every Premier League team in just over 12 months? I'm no City fan, in fact I don't like them much at all, but that statement is outrageous.
