A dose of realism please - stunning goal on Saturday and he’s given us some directness, but I think we’ve become numb to seeing wingers that we’re in danger of getting carried away. He still flits in and out of matches and has a lot of improvement to make. Let him establish himself here and have more match winning moments before we talk about how much we can sell him for. You are assuming there is realism in the transfer market
If other teams get their cheque book out and froth and he gets a golden opportunity then we take it. If not then we see just how good he can get here.

Alternatively, we could just enjoy watching him play… there will be good days and bad days.

Bloxham is typical of a young, talented player who has been crying out for the good coaching which he is now receiving.
Any fool can buy the finished article if funds allow, but the mark of a good coach is to turn an ordinary player into a good one.

Tom Bloxhams development was held back at least 12 - 18 months by Cotteril's decision to make him a virtual permanently unused sub. It was a good call by Micky Moore to loan him to Morecambe who gave him exactly what he needed - regular football at League 2 level. I was surprised Moore recalled him as we didn't play with wingers so what was the point?. Then suddenly we change managers and his recall all makes sense. It's all working out for Tom and us and long may it continue.

Mr Bloxham was the only player last night that actually created something. Time and again he beat his man to the by-line and got crosses into the box.......not that there was anyone there mind

There's a player in there somewhere regarding bloxham.....and the same applies to sobowale.....both will improve under Hurst imho...but both will have to work hard, and listen and learn to what they've been told

I found Mata's positioning was poor. I read that he's a bit of a heading expert...yet to see that.

It’s comes to something when I say I think I’d rather see Mata start up front than Bowman these days. Underrated by many in his first couple of seasons with us, but absolutely finished now.

Underrated by many in his first couple of seasons with us, but absolutely finished now. Earlier this season I described Mata as a poor man's Bowman. I haven't rated Bowan for a while so that sums up what I think of Mata! We know that the way we played under Taylor made it extremely difficult for our stikers but lets not pretend it's simply down to lack of service. Our striking options are probably the weakest in the league, I think it was a Peterborough fan who said generally our side wasn't that bad but as an attacking unit, he'd seen better in non league.
