It may sound strange....
We're just about over our derby win. It'll be there for poserity but, we're so used to winning, the novelty starts to wear off after 5 or 6 days.
That was just 1 game in a season. 3 valuable points. With a humbling of our historic rivals thrown in for measure.
We''ve got Birmingham away next. I'd take a point but I genuinely think if we weather the storm we could take 3.
Its a horrible place to go. Their fans are notoriously bad.
They've only just swung down from the trees.
Talking of rival fans.... what a peculiar bunch you are? The first 2 minutes of this could be extras from the Hammer House of Horrors.
I am no oil painting. But feeeck me sideways! Are any of them on here?

Massive game on Monday night
I've booked Tuesday off.
The only British game on Monday night. Its a whopper and its on Sky.
With the start we've had, I could take a defeat at Birmingham. I'd be happy with a draw. Doing cartwheels and handstands if we win.
You go to Mansfield next Saturday
That's a tall order..

I wanted wrexham to score a late goal, would have won me £40 from a free £1 bet, both teams to score both halves and red card, shame we didnt wind Mullen up like brum did, also makes a worried about the gap between us and brum, the schooled wrexham like wrexham did us

Birmingham looked really good tonight pinging the ball around in midfield and with a lethal striker in Stansfield (the most expensive ever player in this league). Wrexham were outplayed so decided to rough Birmingham up with Mullin, McClean and Dobson living up to their reputations as three of the most unpleasant players in this league.

TBF that was a very enjoyable proper old school football match.
Much better than,for example,the snoozefest that was Spurs v Arsenal over the weekend

It looked like Gobs**te Mullin tried to bite the Brum players calf when they were both in the ground. If it is picked up by the FA he could get a 3 game ban and hopefully he will need to replace his false teeth.

You could do with a few scrappers who wear their heart on their sleeve. I can’t think of one Shrewsbury player to dislike and that sums it up. |
