Castledine will go further up the ladder than Mullin ever has. He arguable has already in playing for and captaining (I think) his country. Yeah right. We aren't / weren't talking about what ifs and pie in the sky dreams we're talking about the here and now. And LOL at that by the way. Mullin, a seasoned pro, insane goal scoring record over the last 4 seasons, a proven big game player over a puny kid who's played what 2 games at professional level in the League and in the last one (Saturday) he was in hiding when the going got tough. Players like Mullin are way out of reach for you, hence why you have to take huge punts on kids from Premiership teams. Deluded does not even come close. Have to agree about the deluded bit. You sure are. This kid has the potential to reach the stars far higher than Mullin has ever done. Pity it wont be with is.

If he had such huge potential he would not be playing for L1 relegation dead certs that's for sure. You've seen him play, what twice (once was no show against us where he did the grand total of fck all) and have already come to that conclusion? And then you call me deluded? My oh my. Have you dropped an E? That's almost as funny as your fans losing their s**t after the game on Saturday. We all stood on the side laughing at you. All we saw was spit and straw flying everywhere, like Worzel Gummidge having a seizure.

Castledine has a red one goal in L1 in 2 60 minute cameos. What is Mullin’s record at L1 level I don’t see him being regular starter in a side pushing for top 6.

He's got a strange L1 career,Aug 2019 to Jan 2020 he made 20 L1 appearances, mostly as a substitute, and scored 3 goals for Tranmere before he was shipped out on loan for the remainder of the season and his contract to Cambridge. He was kept out of the Tranmere team by two old guys, the now long retired James Vaughan and Jon Newby. Now the interesting thing is the manager who got rid of him was Micky Mellon🙄...the same Micky who we loved but also shipped James Collins off to Crawley with the statement " I dont consider him to be a L1 player"... within 3 years Collins is rampaging around The Championship with Luton😳..yeah OK Micky. So the jury's out re Mullin and L1,can he do it at this level or was Micky Mellon right?

Weve always been above your lowly level. Unless you were thinking of the NON LEAGUE derbys you have had with the mighty Chester of course.

Firstly, good luck to Wrexham. Yes, there were pockets of fans on Saturday (and since) who were helmets but there always are. Am I jealous of their current situation? Of course! It must be great fun being a Wrexham fan at the moment.
Now, onto the current situation specifically: Doesn't this 'fairytale' last as long as the documentary series does? Everything seems to hang off that - direct revenue, sponsorship, exposure etc.
My concern if I were a Wrexham fan would be that at some point the success plateaus (it has to), and with it any outside interest. Nobody's going to watch a documentary about a side regularly finishing mid-table in the Championship (for example).
Once the documentary finishes, there's no benefit for United Airlines, TikTok or whomever in sponsoring. The shirt sales across the globe disappear, and I'm struggling to see where the revenue comes from.
Wrexham fans have pointed to other examples of relatively small clubs competing up the pyramid (eg Bournemouth), but in all instances that I can see those clubs have had funds pumped into them. Is the idea that R&R will do that? At the moment they're taking money out.
Even the sell-out crowds at the Racecourse. We know ourselves that fair-weather fans are exactly that. and attendances will only continue at this level whilst Wrexham is a) exciting and b) successful.
Anyway, genuinely interested in Wrexham fans' views (ideally balanced).

An interesting and perceptive post of our situation, and the questions raised apply to virtually every football club across the pyramid - what does the future hold?
I haven’t got any gripe with the owners making money for themselves on the back of the club, as long as it’s not putting our club in jeopardy. Their business acumen is such that they’re generating many more millions in revenue for the club. They also inject vast amounts of money into the local community, more than we’re made aware of I think. Our journey may well slow down - it may not by the way - but that’s football. They’ve given us so many fantastic memories in such a short period of time. Let’s simply enjoy the moment.
If we do manage to ‘do a Bournemouth’ then I wouldn’t expect Rob and Ryan to inject millions into the club. However, I would expect investment from elsewhere, and that wheel has already started to turn. A Mexican group has a 5% stake in the club and both men, particularly Ryan, are so well connected that I would expect plans to be in place already.
The documentary has been brilliant. It’s hugely popular across the world and hasn’t reached its ceiling yet. However, that’s not the only attraction for potential sponsors. Ryan has something like 50m followers on X, and he often wears Wrexham merchandise. That will attract sponsorship.
I think Rob and Ryan know there’s only so far they alone can take the club, but I also think they’ll have laid down foundations for the future. They’re here for the long-term and will be involved in some capacity.

R&R stated very early in the takeover that if we were to progress through the leagues they would be looking for outside investors to get on board.
Reynolds in particular is a hard nosed, shrewd businessman. Very little, if anything of his business ventures have failed. He doesn’t know the meaning of the word. His s**t films are another thing.

He has good management. Right people in the right place etc. As do all successful businessmen. He sold his gin company didn't he? Build it up, sell it on. Will that happen to your club eventually? Likely.

They’re in it for many years to come. Relinquishing some control is inevitable and that has already started. They’re on a mission here. We’re extremely lucky.

We've become a bit blasé about our games
We’ve become used to winning and celebrating 🥃
It’s been an absolutely fantastic start to League One. We await the hype in the media etc when we drop points.
Your fans in attendance last Saturday endured a derby game humbling. They now know who the boss is of the town and city.
We’re hotter than Chernobyl 🧨💥

Those feelings of superiority must have all drained away on Saturday watching us in 2nd gear absolutely dominate you all over the pitch for 90 minutes. But thats all over for younow and you've got a one way ticket to L2. Your current squad wouldn't even trouble the top of L2. No money no fans no hope.
