I'm pleased they have turned things around and are having a good start to the season with some astute signings. But I don't follow them or open up the links to Wrexham so I find it puzzling they keep coming up, I know they draw a lot of media attention but there are other teams in league one

Google learns you interested in things and provides personalised links…. I was surprised to see a SKY advert pop up on telly last evening encouraging me to sign up to SKY sports to watch Rovers play. I had to think for a moment or two until I realised that they meant Tranmere Rovers! I live outside Tarporley so I thought Wrexham would have been closer! |

From what i saw you'll be fighting off relegation from league two in the very near future. Unless you get bought out and they spend some money. Otherwise you're in big trouble. But the bright sparks like you wouldn't want that would you? Because that would make you a massive hypocrite. We've all seen how this goes. We had it 20 years ago. You get relegated from L1 and then the rot continues in L2. Before you know it you've done a FGR and you're in non league. It can then get even worse and you could end up playing Chester like what happened to Stockport. Honestly I didn't stop laughing at how pathetic a team you have now until about tea time on Sunday. I wasn't expecting much but that was gutless. And those idiot fans of yours after the game. Dear god. Backwards doesn't even come close. Couldn't understand a word coming out of their foul mouths. Garbled ooh argh's and spit. |

He certainly showed promise but that can be dashed so often in young players if they are not successfully managed. We now have three or four players who could easily step up into the Championship and potentially higher (Okonkwo, Cleworth, Revan, Tom O Connor). Cleworth came up through our own academy which given we had no funding after slipping in to NL is a great achievement in itself. The other three have all come to us from starting off in Premier League Academies so the quality was already underlying. The rest of our squad would need reviewing if we do somehow manage back to back to back promotions. Mullin could probably do a season - he has shown in our games against Coventry and Sheff Utd in the FA Cup he is more than capable, and Everton have been linked with him (seriously or not we do not know) If Mullin manages to get a Wales cap before the end of the season then he may be ahead of Castledine - for now at least  |

I find it hilarious you singling out Wrexham and Stockport. Especially with your own elements long history of trouble.... Stats show football hooliganism is up. At every club in the pyramid. Places like fooooooookin' Southport, Macclesfield, Chorley etc We've come out of lockdown with with a new generation of terrace dandys. Predominantly male. Who have watched every hooligan dvd going, and have now set their hobby as attaching themselves to their local club, sticking as much coke mixed with jif and glucose etc up their noses, drinking 2 gallons of beer, as causing as much trouble at games as possible The videos are out there on X of the Shruwsbury angels... |

We aren't / weren't talking about what ifs and pie in the sky dreams we're talking about the here and now. And LOL at that by the way. Mullin, a seasoned pro, insane goal scoring record over the last 4 seasons, a proven big game player over a puny kid who's played what 2 games at professional level in the League and in the last one (Saturday) he was in hiding when the going got tough. Players like Mullin are way out of reach for you, hence why you have to take huge punts on kids from Premiership teams. Deluded does not even come close. |
