Superb Salop performance from the very start. Absolutely dominant for 35 minutes of the first half, dipped a bit before HT and looked to be continuing that way after the break but then the red happened.
That’s not to say we didn’t thoroughly deserve a thumping win though - we did. We created just as many chances against them before the red as we did after.
I would hazard a guess that Cambridge will be right down the bottom with us. A great day but the overall picture probably won’t change too much, our squad will still be found out against better teams as it already has many times this season.
Bowman outstanding, Udoh’s performance reminded me of his first under Cotterill (Accrington at home was it?), their centre halves couldn’t get near him but in standard Udoh fashion he just didn’t quite have the final touch of composure to score/create after several pieces of unbelievable work.
Feels good to be a Town fan on this particular Sunday!

Just watched their full replay.
Cambridge the authors of their own downfall: gave us too much space in the first 30 minutes and after the player was sent off. Incapable of shutting up shop after being reduced to 10 men the manager went after it after the soft second. They also lost their discipline - Their present manager has been in charge for over 70 games and has never had a player suspended. Two as a result of this game with five yellows and a red.
Cambridge reminded me of Shrewsbury earlier in the season. We may have found a team worse than ourselves.
I have to say Udoh wasn't in my top three for Shrewsbury.

I see both Bowman and Leahy have made the EFL team of the week - that’s if I’ve read the Twitter link correctly!,

Are there any photos or video footage of the red card incident from a different abgle?

Are there any photos or video footage of the red card incident from a different abgle? Not that I've seen on Quest or Youtube. Cambridge had a camera set up at the back of Block 16.

Well done to the Town on their 4-1 home win against Cambridge United on Saturday.
