that might have stressed him even further, walking is fine it might but having extra strain on your heart at the rate his was will be putting a lot of strain on his body the average resting heart rate is from 50 to 100 bpm, as an athlete you would expect his to be lower. depending on the result of his ECG you would expect him to be put on a beta blokcer fairly quickly . if he was still out of rhythm when he got to hospital they may have given him an emergency cardioversion which can reverse the problem immediately but not always , beta blockers take weeks to take effect and have some horrible side effects and take some serious getting used to

Lets hope it is some reaction to something anyhow. I hope that would mean it is something that can be managed and avoided looking ahead. If it works like that I mean, not up on these things. Otherwise you do worry for his career. All the best to him anyhow.

at the heart rate he should not be exerting himself at all, and the medical staff should have made him go on a streathcher. that might have stressed him even further, walking is fine Walking probably was fine, but it wasn't needed. I know if I had such a condition I would be laying completely still until the paramedics told me otherwise. The fact he didn't go down until a stoppage in play does suggest that he did not know the severity of what was happening.

I bet there was a lot of people worried he may not even play again, including Ryan Bowman.
A few weeks later he's scoring for fun!
Well done Ryan!

Top drawer performance from him today.
We've not had many hat trick heroes in recent seasons, well done Ryan 😊

I think I’m right I saying it was the perfect hat-trick? Header, left foot, right foot?

Does anyone recall a header he went up for today , missed the ball and was heading for a horrible high fall on his back but landed on the opposing players back who somehow deflected him back into his feet, how things might have been different , certainly his day today , I wonder if he’s ever had a better one ?

Clinical today, three finishes you’d expect most strikers to score but not ours. But as others have said, aside from the goals his all round game was outstanding.

You're absolutely right. We commented on it ourselves. He was really lucky the player happened to be in exactly the right place to stop the fall (albeit his challenge had caused the problem) as it would have been a horrible fall otherwise. Deserved his luck. And the rest, at they say, is history
