Any suggestions for a good place in Shrewsbury town centre to watch the England v Scotland match? There's not too many places sadly and there's none you'll just be able to turn up in. Places like Salopian, Wheatsheaf, Severn Social would have been a good shout but suspect they are all booked up, a mate of mine booked our tables for the Masonic last week. Actually Coleham may be a good shout, e.g Crown, Stars, Hop & Friar, but again would expect them to all be busy so would have to book up

Deano coming home Injured That's disappointing for him. Respect for still being able to type coherently given the incredible nerves you must be feeling ahead of the Turkey game.

Shout for offside for the third? I thought the same, surprised it wasn’t even mentioned.

Golden boot race is hotting up. We have a new leader:
🔘 Own Goal [3] 🔘 Cristiano Ronaldo [2] 🔘 Patrik Schick [2] 🔘 Romelu Lukaku [2]

I don't think I've ever seen a player fall from genuine superstar talent to absolute s**te the way Leroy Sane has.

Well well well
Wales. The Group Of Death.
Turkey vs Wales in the Baku Olimpiya Stadionu.
An expected 30,000 Turkish supporters & 400 from Wales.
This is the flipin' European Championships. It's been nigh impossible for Welsh supporters to travel.
So how the flipin' ell do Turkey have an advantage like this in a big competition?
Half of flipin' Azerbaijan in Baku will be supporting the sons of the Devil as well.
4 flipin' hundred swamped in a flea pit of a sweaty stadium by 30,000 frothing Turks..
We'd of taken 8,000 + normally. Eight flipin' thousand plus.
We're up against it. As previously advised, the Covid was all wrong for Wales. 18-months ago we had serious prospects for 'Euro 2020'
And tomorrow. 5 pm. Wales are disadvantaged before a kick of a flipin' football. 30,000 + neanderthals v 400? What a farce?
I haven't even checked yet if there's a woman commentating, punditing on the TV coverage. It wouldn't surprise me..That's our luck.
There'd been a national outcry if England had 400 fans in flipin' Baku for a game against the Turks in the European Championships
We've been shafted. Sideways.

30 thousands Turks in the stadium. Never mind the locals.
They love the Turks. They call them brothers! And scard of their military might etc
400 Welsh fans. It's a 'Zulu' moment.
At least the 300 Spartans 300 had weapons at Thermopylae?
At least Man Utd & Leeds etc had a few thousand in istanbul.
What a disastrous state of affairs for the European Championships?
Wales fans etc will have more s**t thrown at them than guard patrol on the Gaza Strip wall,
30,000 v 400 in the European Championships.
.Unberflipinbelieavable!

Most people consider the Group of Death to be Germany, France, Portugal & Hungary. But no, its apparently Italy, Turkey, Switzerland & Wales. Well you live & learn

More important than whoever is in the crowd is the fact that the Turkish team looked quite ordinary in their first game. Time for Bale and the Welsh lads to step up and gain a famous victory!

I don't understand either how you are allowed to get away with continually deliberately bypassing the swear filter. Your comment about a female commentator doesn't surprise me either.

I'm certainly hoping for a Wales win. If only for a quiet night. Otherwise it's "Beep!! Beep, beep!!"
