Rumoured back in January and out of contract in the summer - at Bristol City as a youngster under Cotterill, Torquay United goal scoring midfielder Connor Lemonheigh Evans Is this still a rumour that's has any credential ? Maybe now Norburn has been sold? Think he still has 12 months to run on his contract I read somewhere recently. So will cost money.

Has Jonny Williams got fixed up with anyone since he came back from the Euros?

Has Jonny Williams got fixed up with anyone since he came back from the Euros? He signed for either Cardiff or Swansea in the sunmer. Can’t remember which one, but it definitely wasn’t Wrexham!

Cardiff, but released, tidy player on his day

Cardiff, but released, tidy player on his day He is but he'snot quite Championship standard. I know it's a stretch but if we're talking about a creative central midfielder and a wow signing then this would be in that category. Strange that he was release by Cardiff. Bowyer pulled him off for pulling out of a tackle against us in December.

Bowyer pulled him off for pulling out of a tackle against us in December. Massive injury and fitness issues. For someone his age, the amount of starts he has had in his career is very poor. Would presume that is proving a stumbling block in finding a contract

If knew what we know now should of kept Goss maybe short term or even kept Edwards on till January.
However SC knows what he is doing.

I'd have kept Goss and played him in the advanced role.

Cosgrove isn't that prolific (bar one season at Aberdeen) but good foil for others I get, decent assist return i think. Rather have Chapman back tbh

I see Cosgrove is 6'4, someone to get on the end of Elliot's excellent deliveries.

Rather have Chapman back tbh I mean if you take out the majority of his substitute appearances he's just off a goal every 2 games which to me is extremely prolific. Really hope Burt and cotts pull this one off.

Usually one of the most reliable journos for lower league so wouldn't be surprised to see this happening in next few days. Never really scored outside of Scotland, which is always a bit of a red flag but bought by Birmingham for £2m only 6 months ago so just have something about him

Rather have Chapman back tbh Two completely different players Cosgrove is a target man for somebody else to play off, Good in the air trouble is didn't we sign Bowman for that role? can't see two big lads up front. Cosgrove wants first team football, but is more of a foil doesn't matter how many goals you get if the other is scoreing. We need somebody quick and will run with the ball, a younger Whalley, there has got to be forward thinking quick players out there just need to find them. We somehow found Chapman, but i don't think this will happen we raised his profile to highly. There has got to be a raw talent out there in non-league that needs polishing Eisa never got a chance here! I would have Goss back as a replacement for Norburn like a shot!

Wouldn't be against Cosgrave & Bowman up front with Udoh pushing either for a start if they're not scoring. Having three really competitive strikers plus a young Bloxham would be a great mix.
Add Chapman and even resign Goss plus a loan I wouldn't be too unhappy at all. Quality over quantity.

That video makes him look like someone not afraid of giving it out to opposition fans, so for that reason alone I'm all for this signing.

Given last night's finishing prowess and all round energy, Udoh would deserve a chance to play alongside someone like Cosgrove but we'll need more than two over the season. An injection of pace would be useful, but I think it's more to do with the quickness of controlling and moving the ball than sheer running speed. In that context, Goss isn't our man. And Eisa did get a chance - he was here long enough but didn't fulfil the potential originally seen in him.

I liked Eisa and I was disappointed when he left but he did get some chances and you can't give every player 20 games to see if he is good enough. Also his last 3 clubs (incl Loan) are all in the league below us. He did decently for a poor Sc***horpe side, and has now joined a Bradford side in the same league. And in Bradfords first game on Saturday he didn't make it off the bench in a 0-0, and a certain Lee Angol was picked ahead of him. So possibly he was given enough of a chance?

Cosgrave and Main played up top for Aberdeen together or on their own under Mcinnes before moving on. My impression was that, being the type of strikers they are, they both suffered at times through lack of service from out wide. Plus the Mcinnes era was coming to an end and the team was low on confidence and lacking creativity. When the team was playing well Cosgrave was getting on the scoresheet alright. I'd say Cosgrave is a good age and with the right service could come good if this move happens.

not sure that Eisa really got a proper run in the team.
In the current team, apart from Whalley, who can run at players and create chances..........Bennett failed miserably against burton.

Strange move to Belgium for one time target Lawrence Shankland. Rumoured £1m + large add odds.
