Anyone that’s heard Cotterill’s non stop barking throughout this whole game is surely no longer doubting if he’s well enough to attend games 😂 Yes, he was loud. Very promising for next season.

I need someone to explain how this season even we have scored more goals than 'promotion-chasing' Ipswich.

Did anyone check the odds on 0-0. I meant to, but was busy getting my dinner before kick off Normally around 7 or 8/1

What have Ipswich done to Norwood?!
Season could have been much different with Chapman on a season long loan, instead of Žambůrek; hope he gets full 90 for last game of season.
Goss & Walker seem to get plenty of chances with SC; wonder if they’ll be offered new contracts. Seem to tick the box for players who can deliver with some quality.

Although we all hope and expect for extensive summer changes, all these players deserve our credit and respect for the way they’ve responded since SC came in, turned our form around, dealt with the coronavirus outbreak with strength and resilience and given us a very boring and meaningless end of the season.

I need someone to explain how this season even we have scored more goals than 'promotion-chasing' Ipswich. I know our defence has had some criticism of late for gifting goals but only Ipswich have a better record outside of the playoff positions. Does our defensive play hinder the amount we score or are the forwards just not good enough. If we can strike a balance in keeping a good defence and improve the strike rate who knows where we could be. Let’s hope the coaching over the summer resolves our long term goal shortage issues.

Well we started the season with an extremely defensive mindset, no doubt the squad was set up that way and many are still with us with the new manager. Hopefully next season we will look to be a little more attack minded with a squad to match and therefore strikers get much more chance to shine.

Typical end of season game with nothing to play for, although Salop had some decent chances which typically, we couldn’t convert. I liked Ipswich’s away kit.

I know we always say it, but it will be fascinating who Cotterill brings in over the summer. If Edwards doesn't have a role to play I can see Whalley being given an option of a year with a view to coaching. It's quite possible that we'll have no attack minded players on the books atall never mind a "goal scorer " come June! It's got to be a loan signing really regarding a goal scorer. Look at Swindon with Pitman?

Having watched the 20 “goals of the season” it remarkable that they account for nearly half our goals. Chapman showed us what can be done at this level from a deeper position we just need to improve the “fox in the box” position / contribution.

Look at Swindon with Pitman? Not seen anything about Whaley doing his coaching badges etc, would prefer back room staff to be qualified through profession rather than just cos he has been here a while And to be fair, he has not really been that good this season..... but while he is a town player he gets my full support, if he gets a contract I hope he comes good next season, but I won’t be to disappointed if he is released.

He has been helping the Academy coach recently. Listening to Dave Edwards interviews, he doesn’t appear to be interested in coaching.

So if that’s the case, great and hope where ever he is, he is successful, and would not mind if it’s at STFC

The commentary team mentioned the league cup tie against ipswich in the 2009/10 season and it brought to mind the impact a tall stocky 17 year old made when he came on to score 2 goals I believe - his name Connor Wickham - I hope Bloxham can have the same type of impact with match experience

Disappointed that Josh Daniels is not getting a chance now that he is fully fit. He was flying before his injury but the manager knows best. I would like to see a big effort to keep Pennington even if it means letting Edwards go and using his high salary towards it. The salary that Edwards is on I would guess is too high for a squad player. I dont know how much we pay an Academy manager but would love to see Edwards in that role. He would be an excellent role model for any young player.

I liked Ipswich’s away kit. Yeah, thought it looked good too. I like a bit of light blue myself. It's a kit made from Adidas' "Primeblue" technology... Most Sustainable Kit Ever Supporting adidas Primeblue Working with official technical kit partner, adidas, Blues have developed the Club’s most sustainable kit ever. It's manufactured with adidas’ Primeblue technology, which features Parley Ocean plastic® which is made from recycled waste that’s intercepted from beaches and coastal communities before it reaches the oceans.

Amicable school-run this morning. Chatting about the game.
Single takeaway for me is better/quality decision making to have better chance at scoring. Whalley to Edwards in second half.
Norburn passes to front are often looped in air rather than in to feet.
Shows where need to be better.
Enjoyed listening to Cotterill and funny how Radio Shropshire paused to listen in. Radio Suffolk equally having to commentate over voice of Cotterill!
Bloxham gave another encouraging performance and with good close season and pre season could be a worthy asset next season.

awful defending both stood and watched and harry, might look like a save but its pathetic, its an open handed splat their keeper just managed to push away a decent shot just by using his upper arm that was dreadful defending and the kepper needs to look before he punches fortunently our player got there before the ipswich player

either team could have won this,a draw is probably the fair result but the usual lack of goals from reasonable chances.
let us hope we have a team more able to be a threat in the final third and score more goals, with a much better defence and be in the top third of the table rather than the usual scrapping above the bottom end of the table. whilst gratful we stayed up in many ways a season to forget as we went from terrible to transformed and back to terrible as we finish with a whimper rather than a roar
