Just bought a subscription to watch the Town game on Friday. Now I have all the electronic gizmos but how do I go about watching it? Can I play it on a laptop and then stream it to my Smart TV? Is there an App that I can install on my TV to stream directly.
No doubt I will soon learn the procedure. Can anyone advise please?
If you've got a smart TV can you not just stream it through the TV. When ever I've paid to watch a Salop game I've just logged on using the web browser on the telly! you could simply try by doing it now and watching a free video on the site, i dont think tvs are that smart though

Is that through the "Connect" option on the PC? As I just discovered that myself. So no need for cables. Had no idea it was available so if folk do have a newish TV its certainly something to look out for!!

Does the iFollow app allow casting to the TV? Because the sky app doesn't!! I don't think it does. In fact I think I've only ever seen Netflix that has that option. So I think it comes down to the TV you have. If you have a TV that lists "Wireless Display" then you can select that and your device (PC or tablet) should then list the TV as a wireless display that you can connect to. Either that or hdmi cable between the device and the TV. So connecting with a Windows 10 PC. On the TV, select "Wireless Display". On your PC, you need to select the "speech bubble" icon in the bottom right hand corner (its on your taskbar) and then select Connect. The TV should then be included in the list of the devices available to connect to. Select that and then it should connect. Pop iFollow on full screen and its decent enough. For mobile devices and tablets there are also options available to cast to the TV but through the device rather than the app. Wasn't assuming you didn't know this already mind, just that one or two others might find it helpful.👍

if you have an apple device your best option is the proper apple cable to hdmi which is almost £50, or apple tv, a decent laptop with an hdmi cable should also do the job, im using a fairly new macbook pro and although there are apps i could use to stream to my tv , most have issues of one sort or another, a simple usb c to hdmi works perfectly, i could even carry on using my laptop to do other stuff if req, saying all that ive never tried it for a live game, just tested it with the ifollow free vids

Not managing either at the moment, laptop won’t upload payment page and using the mobile as a last resort I get to the payment page but it won’t process either the stored card or PayPal 😡

No, I don't bother with the PC, I just use the web browser on the TV, it's a bit slow typing in the address and password but I wouldn't know how to connect to the laptop.

Not a good advertisement for iFollow. Good job I’ve got radio shrop in so I at least know what’s going on. Very poor service from iFollow.

First time I’ve ever used the service, not an ideal start, expect money back to be honest.
