Bar the hiccup for the first 15 minutes have to say was impressed with ifollow yesterday. Doubt the servers have ever had to cope with as many people signing on as yesterday. Hopefully they’ll iron out the problems in the coming weeks. And although I had to watch some of Sunderland, Rovers, I got to watch Sunderland go 1-0 down hehe 😅 I agree, I think the quality has gone up a notch or two since last season. Given that the demand must have increased significantly, since that’s all fans have for the moment, the odd glitch is not too surprising and at least it didn’t last too long yesterday. I could have done without the adverts though, I don’t remember those before.

My main worry was that it was just me!! Not being all that IT savvy. It was a relief to find out it was everyone.

Bt seems ok for me. I paid £10 on my laptop, but live doesn’t seem to work. It works ok on my iPad, but tiny screen i think my old laptop, running on now unsupported Windows7, is just too old to run the live match. Can that be put right ? i was being prompted to use Microsoft Edge browser, would that make any difference ? Windows 7 is unsupported according to the minimum system requirements on the website: 2.7.1. Site (Windows): 2.33GHz or faster x86-compatible processor, or Intel® Atom™ 1.6GHz or faster processor for netbooks; 32-bit and 64-bit (unless noted): Windows 8.1, Windows 10 and later new Windows releases; latest versions of Microsoft Internet Explorer, Microsoft Edge, Mozilla Firefox and Google Chrome; 1GB (32-bit) or 2GB (64-bit) of RAM; 128MB of graphics memory.
2.7.2. Site (Mac): Intel Core™ Duo 2GHz or faster processor; Mac OS X v10.9, or later; latest versions of Safari, Mozilla Firefox, and Google Chrome; 1GB of RAM; 128MB of graphics memory.
2.7.3. App: Android or iPhone/iPad device; minimum of 50mb available memory for App installation; iOS 11.2 (or above) or Android 4.4 (or above) operating system. You could get a decent tablet to watch it on or update your laptop to Windows 10 but I'm guessing it probably won't as you don't have it already (All windows 7 devices were given a free upgrade to Windows 10 if they qualified)

just buy a macbook pro and start to wonder why you ever used windows
renewed mine last year and it cost almost 2K, although you can get a decent new mac for half that
prior to this mac my previous one was the equivalent and lasted 10 years of constant solid use, i then walked into currys , handed it over and recieved a £180 voucher to buy whatever i wanted
expensive, yes but holds value, free updates, and hardly any problems
(mine will probably break tonight now )

Windows will last you a long time too these days with SAAS. Just got to pick the right device. Anyway let's not turn it into a technical discussion thread, just wanted to make John and others aware that Windows 7 is not supported so could be the root of their issues.

I’ve been wondering this too. It’s a bit ambiguous how it’s written. Hopefully someone who knows will enlighten us.

Yes we would email all season ticket holders a unique code which allows them to watch the live ifollow stream of the match free of charge. The code is unique so can only be used by one person. Please ensure that your email address is correct within your account on the ticketing website www.eticketing.co.uk/shrewsburytownfc/ as all codes will be sent by email to the email address connected with your account at some point in the week of the match once we receive the codes from EFL."
So that is pretty clear but the club want everyone to make sure they have the right email address. The survey that people filled in was not committal in ANY way, it was just to give the club an idea of what to expect to help with planing to get fans back in.

Minus the obvious Sunderland part I was quite impressed by how smoothly it ran, had it hooked up to my laptop then HDMI onto the TV and it didn't buffer once, just showed the wrong game which is nothing to do with my setup, so I'm hopeful for the next few games as they iron out the bugs

Does this all mean that a season ticket holder using windows 7 cannot see a home game?? Not saying the info is wrong, but the streams have always worked fine on my win7 laptop using Chrome. Suspect the requirements don't mention win7 as Microsoft have stopped supporting and updating it.

Anyone have trouble with the ifollow commentary today on their mobile (radio only)? Unless I left the app open and on screen it keep cutting out after around a minute. Really annoying as I couldn’t play Pokemon Go whilst listening to the game. Will drop them an email unless it was just an issue with my device?

Thought not i used to attend these games for £1 outrageous really 1000% more expensive to watch it online than live the club should be sending codes to all season ticket holders as a goodwill gesture for these games
