Transfermkt and Wikipedia both have him as 1.88m (6'2"). Soccerbase has him as 1.75m (5'9").
Only time will tell.....when we see him standing next to AP or EEB!

Seems odd us giving him a 3 year, but wish him the best.

Seems odd us giving him a 3 year, but wish him the best. So you give him twelve months and watch him disappear for free at the end of it, after banging in some goals?

Seems odd us giving him a 3 year, but wish him the best. It's a strategy that has worked well with previous signings over the last year or two.

Happy to give him a chance, but at 5'9" I don't think he's come as a target man Says 6"2 on the town website, and seems to have a few different heights quoted on different website. Lets hope some of them are out of date and Sam's got the right figure. Judging from the pic of the 3 new signings he certainly looks taller than Daniels to me.

I believe it's a B&A tradition to bump these signing threads to cast aspertions about the quality of the player and/or manager who singed him.
So yeah, Pyke and Ricketts both pretty s**t eh?

Three signings , 3 relatively young lads anxious to impress and improve . What’s not to like. Not an easy League is League 1 so we need to give them time and encouragement . COYB Perfectly happy with the other guys. Season long loan for a good prospect is a decent punt, as is a two year contract on an exciting young winger who probably didn't cost too much. I have massive reservations handing a 3 year contract to a striker with a poor scoring record thus far in his career. 2 years is fine because we cant move them on, but 3 is a big commitment for someone unproven. Turns out the 3 year contract was a huge mistake.

Thought he may improve when his fitness returned but clearly he is nowhere near good enough.

Pyke is worse than Cosgrove and that’s saying something!!!
Surely there is a team in the National league seventh tier by the seaside who needs a player with a fishy surname.

Difference between Pyke and Cosgrove is that Cosgrove has some ability but he has a s**te mentality and work eithic, Pyke is just punching well above his weight in league 1.

I disagree. The 3 year contract is a very low wage. We all agreed it would be, due to coming from Telford was it? So it's no real loss to us. He was signed as a bit-part player and he has done just that. Unfortunately not done much at this level. Lovely lad must say though personally.

He came from the Championship? 3 year deal for a guy who's scored 1 league goal. Near 3 years later, he's still on 1 league goal. A grand total of 1 in 59 games in the football league.

I find it crazy he’s played at league 1 level for Shrews/Rochdale the past 3 years. From what I’ve seen he’s national league level

Great game today I thought, credit where it’s due. Best game for us today though I know that’s not difficult. That shot he had if it was half a foot higher the keeper would’ve had no chance.

Great game is pushing it. He worked a hell of a lot harder but still struggled to control the ball or play simple passes. He is ok back up for right wing. I hope to never see him again leading the line.

Felt for him when he was played through by Udoh at 2-1. Think he got it caught up in his legs and allowed the defender to get back and nick it from him.
