in reality he's just got good physical attributes and he's really not that good at the technical side of the game. Easily replaceable part of our team in my opinion. I wouldn't disagree but isn't that true of the vast majority of L1 midfielders - and a good percentage of those at higher levels?

I think the difference with Laurent is that he has the potential to improve significantly. I hope we can find a replacement that also has something of that.

I don't do social media but my eldest son, who does, has told me that Omar and his wife had a baby girl, named Ariya in mid May. So would imagine that his next move is vitally important for him.According to BC,as reported, we offered Omar an improved contract.
Thing is I can't see a Championship club being interested in him. Perhaps he wants to return back to London? and he is looking in that direction...i.e Charlton? back in L1 and as a squad player. Problem with that is Charlton may well lose Bowyer and they appear to be in a big mess anyway.
Whatever Omar decides I hope that it works out for him, a good guy

One of the topics was related to the stadium. Apparently the former owner sold the club for a pound but retained ownership of the stadium. The club have the option to buy it back if they can find £50m. There is talk that they may have to ground share with Millwall, West Ham, Palace,Gillingham, Welling or Dagenham.

He’s replaceable in my view. 3/4 of his time here, he was very average. Had a good spell for a couple months but needs to do that much more consistently in The Championship.

He is replaceable, without doubt, seen a lot better midfielders than him over the years watching town, Gerry Daly was better than him, standing on one leg, not to mention quite a few others either, there is a long list !!!

8 goals in 2 seasons... his new club will want more out of him than that... however they might actually play some attacking football which should help!

Never let the Club be separated from the ground. Oxford, Walsall and Wrexham supporters will tell you that.

Chance to play at a higher level; almost certainly a good deal more money. Can't blame him for that. Best of luck lad.

Gotta say I like Laurent, but he's not a patch on Jimmy McLaughlin - now there was a player!!

The whole thing is laughable really but fans are in denial as long as things are ok on the pitch. I know a Derby fan who was boasting about the state of their finances, I reminded them that they would have made a huge loss had it not been for them selling their ground, he just brushed it off with "it's within the rules"

Would’ve liked him to stay, but we’ve lost much better players in the past and survived.
Good luck to him and I look forward to some incoming transfer news in the near future.
