Average player joins an average side with average supporters. at least one thing is better for him then Bit harsh, we probably just class as an average side.

If Vella has his head screwed on you will see a real player at this level. Combine this with Norburn and you have a more than useful midfield. All I ask for is not that three at the back nonsense...Please...

Wolves won the Championship and have come 7th in the Premier League with it. The problem was the players, ie round pegs in square holes and overriding negative tactics. A lot of our fans are dinosaurs as far as tactics go. 4-4-2 and “GET IT FORWARD”

An excellent move for a player whose main attributes are physical.
Good luck Josh.

We ditch tactics. Golbourne and Love are more than capable full backs. However they are not wing backs. You also get the best out of Whalley as a winger. Four at the back doesn't mean you have to play 442. You can play a 4231. This would suit Town, with the players at the club. Let's be honest we're not going to spend alot(And I'm not advocating we do) so let's just keep it simple and replace Lauren and (probably) Piere

Even with Laurent going the midfield for me isn’t a concern. We have more than enough capable players in the centre of the park to do the job. The same goes if Beckles leaves too.
Although a good attacking midfielder would be nice to get in, I think if we persist with the 3-5-2 of last season then the priority recruitment this summer should be two good wingbacks who aren’t afraid of actually getting forward. If we can get another striker in on loan with a decent track record then that would be a great start to the window too.
The squad to me last season wasn’t the problem and those players under contract are more than good enough to be a competitive outfit. We need tinkering, not wholesale changes with the squad and if Ricketts wants to get fans like me back on side then we won’t play looking like we are shackled all game and limiting our play.

What a goal against Stevenage!
Even better as it helped to get rid of the odious Steve Evans from this year’s competition.

He loves an FA Cup goal at Stoke! Still one of the best moments I’ve had at away games, that second half under Ricketts.

Was captain for Stoke yesterday too. I doubted he was ready for the championship but must be one of the most consistent midfielders at that level over the last 3 or so years.

Oh Absolutely. Massive mental in the away stand. Spent most of it in my Dad's arms. He died suddenly shortly after the Wolves replay.
You can never, ever take that moment away.
