Bit like Northrn rail, you have no idea if it will be on time, a little late, really late or totally cancelled.

Out of interest does anyone know what our largest away following has been for a match? Not including the pit of doom that is Wembley....

Awesome effort by STFC and fans to sell/buy 8,000 tickets especially in such a short time period. Go to be honest, never thought we’d sell the whole allocation so fantastic support against to odds.....thanks LFC.... for nothing!

I wasn't bothered about Liverpool Juan way or an udder. But now I will be cheering on every Juan they play. I sincerely hope my club don't treat any opponents with such disdain.
Pathetic club.

Well according to this mornings newspapers Klopp will be sat someplace watching the game on his laptop. What thet means regarding a stream becoming available I am unsure. But it might now be worth having a look see come kick off. Just FYI anyhow for those who aren't attending the game...👍

To a degree, I think he has a point. Critchely is talking about his side being an under 19/20 side rather than under 23's. I really don't think anything is expected of them. I don't think they will be under any pressure from the home crowd at all. Everyone is aware of the situation, why they happen to be playing this fixture. They'll be expected to go out and try their best, that’s about the sum of it for their lads. Maybe some nerves for sure but they’re not expected to win.
With that said though, we still have to cope with heading up to Anfield to play Liverpool in front of a huge crowd. But when it comes to player for player, we should be at least on a par or better. I think it’s all about settling down and getting on with things as best as we can as early as we can. I think our support will play a huge role tonight when it comes to that. We’re going to Liverpool but it’s certainly not the lion’s den that it might have been at some other time. If we play to the best of our ability then I think we should win this game. It’s just how we handle the occasion. Just hoping the 8000 travelling fans can make some noise an help our lads get comfortable with things early on.
Mind you, first time I have looked to what the bookies are offering and Liverpool are the favuorites. Maybe there will be one or two older players included in the side. Or maybe they think we might struggle with the occasion. As I thought the odds would be a little closer than that.

I’m not a big fan of this, I’m sure he was only answering a question, but we’re not entitled to a replay or a payday, we would’ve have any extra money at all if we’d have won the home game like we deserved. If a stronger Liverpool team was being played it just lessens our chances of winning the game, and receiving prize money and gate receipts from the next round.

amazing effort by the fans and the club.crucially how many town players have played infront of such a large crowd and how they cope with that and plus not conceed early will shape the start of the game . if town go out and play there best we know what there best looks like UP the Blues .

But this financial loss because we are playing the kids and no tv coverage will be more than made up with a win that will give us the fourth round win prize and a trip to Chelsea with possible tv coverage. Had we been playing a stronger Liverpool team we would have made more money but lost the tie. Its all swings and roundabouts but a must win game financially.

If a stronger Liverpool team was being played it just lessens our chances of winning the game, and receiving prize money and gate receipts from the next round. Why? I don't think he said that we are entitled to anything has he? He just said that it is disappointing that with the decisions made by Liverpool regarding this replay we are set to lose out on a considerable amount of money. Which is true isn't it? I mean why did Liverpool refuse to play the game on Wednesday for live TV coverage? That decision alone means we miss out. It has nothing to do with looking to get an extra 24 hours between games as their first team has no game scheduled this weekend So why? Was it because they were looking to save face; knowing that they have been criticized for how they are going about this replay and there is a half decent chance they might be put out of the cup by a 3rd division side. So based on that, we lose out on much needed TV money. I agree with your last point, I'm more than happy that we are going up against a young side with at least a chance of making it to the 5th round against Chelsea. But lets not pretend otherwise, Liverpool have cost us here because Klopp is looking to make a point. No harm in highlighting that. No issue with him playing the kids, that's his decision and it gives us a chance but we do lose out on TV money with their refusal to schedule the game for TV.

This whole episode has highlighted the fact that the Premier clubs and, for that matter, the FA, have very little or no interest in lower league clubs whatsoever. It’s almost like two different games. Them and us. Well I know which I prefer. I will enjoy tonight, of course I will, but I suspect not as much as the Conference days when we made to feel welcome wherever we went.
Liverpool have let themselves and, more importantly us, down with this whole saga. I know they won’t give a toss but one day they will drop just like ManCity, ManUtd and Arsenal - they need to remember that when you are right at the top there’s only one way to go and may it be sooner rather than later.

The FA Cup is a lifeline for so many smaller lower league clubs. The dream has always been to get to a money spinning third round and beyond but premier league clubs are devaluing that dream. Even if the FA act against Liverpool for fielding such a weakened team it will only be a financial penalty. A 22 points league deduction would make them sit up and take notice.
